A different perspective for you: Democracy was under attack in Ukraine since 2014 when anti-Russian Western Ukrainians overthrew the rightly elected President, Yanukovych. This is just a continuation of 7 years of anti-democratic actions, which were started by the Western Ukrainian people. The ethnically Russian Eastern Ukrainians will be home with their Russian brethren soon enough.
