The FBI recently raided the homes of two men who sponsored an invective-laced rally near the US Capitol a day before the deadly insurrection, the first known search warrants involving people who organized and spoke at rallies preceding the attack. CNN learned of the raids through an eyewitness account, public records, a lawyer representing one of the rally organizers and an FBI spokeswoman who confirmed details of the searches. The former director of Subway pitchman Jared Fogle's charity remains in custody after being charged with multiple counts related to child pornography. Russell Taylor, 43 – who ran the Jared Foundation, a nonprofit organization encouraging healthy eating and exercise habits for kids – was arrested on May 4. Following a raid early Tuesday on Fogle's Zionsville, Indiana, home during which authorities removed electronics, PEOPLE obtained a 16-page charging document that details disturbing accusations against Taylor, including bestiality and child abuse. Federal authorities raided the home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle Tuesday morning. FBI sources told FOX59 state and federal investigators were serving warrants at Fogle’s Zionsville home in connection with a child pornography investigation...Earlier this year, Russell Taylor, the former director of the Jared Foundation started by Fogle, was arrested in a child pornography case. He was accused of possessing and producing child pornography. Investigators said a search of Taylor’s home turned up more than 500 videos with images of child pornography. In May, Taylor unsuccessfully tried to kill himself while in jail.
