COSTA MESA, Calif. (AP) - Police have arrested a man accused of using his car to run down another man in an Orange County parking lot, leaving the victim in critical condition. Morteza Bakhtiari, 26, was arrested at his home in Costa Mesa late Friday, said Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino. Bakhtiari was being held on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly using his BMW to ram 41-year-old John Royston and then drive off, said Amormino. Bail was set at $1 million.
