The Dallas Police Department is investigating the shooting death of an alleged armed robber that occurred late last night in west Dallas. Officials say a homeowner was hosting a social gathering in the front yard of a house when three suspects robbed the party at gunpoint. One of the individuals at the party, who police say is a licensed handgun carrier, produced his weapon and shot one of the robbers. One robber was shot and two others fled the scene.
