A protester was led out of Wednesday evening’s Bakersfield City Council meeting after telling the council “we’ll see you at your house, we’ll murder you” during public comments. The council meeting was then delayed after the comments by Riddhi Patel, who spoke about security measures put in place for council meetings. Patel lashed out at the council for the security measures in place saying the measures were put in place as retaliation against protesters.

San Francisco city officials said the pro-Palestine protesters have been cleared from Union Square following their demonstration. In a tweet, city officials said "incident in the area of Union Square has been resolved" in an update. Residents should still expect residual traffic delays. Around 2 p.m., some protesters gathered in the area of Union Square's Christmas tree. One protester also climbed the tree, hung a Palestinian flag, and placed a "Free Palestine" poster on the tree.
