WASHINGTON -- The House Judiciary Committee chairman on Wednesday requested a judicial investigation of a federal appeals judge who says he inadvertently leaked information in 2000 that a grand jury had been convened to investigate then-President Clinton. Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., requested the investigation of Senior Appeals Judge Richard D. Cudahy, alleging the judge initially sought to hide his role and only acknowledged the leak after facing the threat of an investigation.
