On March 18, Truth Radio Show's Dan Bidondi, approached Rhode Island state senator Josh Miller (D) for comment on "several unconstitutional, draconian gun bills"--Miller told Bidondi to "go f*** [himself.]" Bidondi's exact words to Miller were: "The Second Amendment shall not be infringed, you people need to understand that." Miller's exact response was: "Go f*** yourself." Miller's camera man/photographer then leaned in to the microphone and said, "Yeah, go f*** yourself."

Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee has notified senior Democratic Party officials that he intends to switch his party registration and join the Democratic Party, multiple sources familiar with Chafee’s decision told POLITICO. Chafee, a former GOP senator elected as an independent in 2010, has struggled with low approval ratings and faces a difficult reelection fight in 2014.
