The problem stemmed from a software issue that caused machines supplied by Dominion Voting Systems to incorrectly calculate vote totals, said Jessika Padilla Rivera, the commission’s interim president. While no one is contesting the results from the June 2 primary that correctly identify the winners, machine-reported vote counts were lower than the paper ones in some cases, and some machines reversed certain totals or reported zero votes for some candidates.

Treatment for dementia is in sight after the Australian federal government announced $10 million funding for a study that has been able to fully reverse dementia in mice, with clinical trials on humans set to begin late 2019. The pioneering technique was developed in 2015 at the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI), said a research body at the University of Queensland (UQ). Researchers used a noninvasive technique that employs scanning ultrasound to clear out toxic buildups in the brain that are the hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease, a common form of dementia.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business may talk a good game about being choice but another move by the abortion company makes it clear the only choice Planned Parenthood favors is abortion. The abortion corporation has filed a lawsuit seeking to overturn a new Arizona law allowing women to know that they can change their minds about an abortion with the dangerous RU 486 abortion pill even after the abortion has started. New Arizona law SB 1318 requires that abortionists tell their patients that they could reverse the effects of the RU-486 abortion regimen if they change their mind during the...

Although it's said that still waters run deep, now scientists find that deep waters aren't still - in fact, the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean seem to have reversed their direction of flow since the last time ice dominated the Earth. Instead of heading southward as they do now, these abyssal waters once flowed northward roughly 20,000 years ago, back when the world saw ice sheets more than a mile high, a new study suggests. The change in flow could have accompanied profound changes in climate, researchers explained. Climate connection In the Atlantic, the Gulf Stream brings warm surface...

Now, findings from the Stanford University School of Medicine and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital shed light on the neural basis of memory defects in Down syndrome and suggest a new strategy for treating the defects with medication. The study, which was conducted in mice, is the first to show that boosting norepinephrine signaling in the brains of mice genetically engineered to mimic Down syndrome improves their cognition. Norepinephrine is a neurotransmitter that nerve cells use to communicate...

The most controversial "marriage that never was" in recent U.S. political history is back. Sources tell TIME that the Vatican has reversed the annulment of Joseph P. Kennedy II's marriage to Sheila Rauch. The annulment had been granted in secrecy by the Catholic Church after the couple's 1991 no-fault civil divorce. Rauch found out about the de-sanctification of their marriage only in 1996, after Kennedy had been wedded to his former Congressional aide, Beth Kelly, for three years. The annulment was the subject of Rauch's 1997 book Shattered Faith, which lambasted her ex-husband and was severely critical of the Catholic...

I’m sure the environmentalists were pleased with the idea of lowering the speed limit – but the People were not ! For one thing , New Jersey roads are easily the most heavily traveled in the nation – which means residents spend 75 to...
