I follow national security news stories pretty closely, but I have to admit to being shocked by Human Events magazine’s publication of an excerpt from a new book. It is Courting Disaster: How the CIA Kept America Safe and How Barack Obama Is Inviting the Next Attack, by Marc Thiessen. Thiessen was a top speechwriter for President George W. Bush. For that reason he had access to very highly classified national security documents and information. One excerpt about information gathered from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (“KSM”) is astounding, mind-boggling: [KSM’s] resistance is described by one senior American official as “superhuman.” Eventually,...

Hi everyone – apologies for the hiatus. I’ve been underwater lately with work and hitting the media circuit so the blog drew the short end of the stick. I’m back in the saddle and have some exciting things in the pipeline that should break soon. While you wait, here’s a long-overdue round-up of my recent antics:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3-UolHpl3o FASCISM: WHAT IT REALLY IS AND WHAT IT REALLY MEANS. This new movie exposes the true defintion of fascism, What is fascism? Fascism has been a word thrown around a lot lately. It is being misinterpreted and abused especially in politics. This video teaches us its real meaning in its pure form, centralized government control over all of us. As we reflect on the words of one of the great spiritual and moral leaders our nation has ever known, many emotions overcome us. Dr King speaks about the basics of humanity, the desires of all men to be free, to exercise the natural rights they are given by their creator. In Dr King’s world, the color of a man’s skin would have no bearing on how he fits into society. In Dr King’s world, it is the content of a man’s character that determines his station in life. It is the content of a man’s character says it all....

Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley 51-46 in our final Massachusetts Senate poll, an advantage that is within the margin of error for the poll. Over the last week Brown has continued his dominance with independents and increased his ability to win over Obama voters as Coakley's favorability numbers have declined into negative territory. At the same time Democratic leaning voters have started to take more interest in the election, a trend that if it continues in the final 36 hours of the campaign could put her over the finish line. Here's what we found: -Brown is up 64-32 with independents...

Here is the Kent citing that the very liberal progressives want you to see and uses adnausium. “As the President is required to be a native citizen of the United States…Natives are all persons born within the jurisdiction of the United States.” James Kent, COMMENTARIES ON AMERICAN LAW (1826) The progressives cite from 2 completely different sections in Kent’s commentaries . . . What they do not tell you is that the latter part, natives are all persons born within the jurisdiction of the United States is cited from Kent’s lecture on A1, S8, C5, the uniform Rule of Naturalization....

A new Movie is being displayed in Public schools (communist indoctrination centers.) And your children have no choice but to sit down and watch it whether you or they want to or not. Paid for by taxpayers. The new movie is called the story of stuff. It is an environmentalist and Marxist propaganda film being shown in schools all over the country. The premise: Your cell phone, Lego's, Ipod, computer, car, Styrofoam ETC is toxic and harmful and is killing you and the planet and its all being sold to you thanks to slaves in the third world! My how...

Two of the main reasons we've heard over and over about why Republicans did so well in New Jersey and Virginia in November and why they continue to poll so well for 2010 races are that they're more motivated to get out to the polls than Democrats and that independents are leaning their way. Those things are definitely true and we're seeing them in Massachusetts too. One emerging problem for Dems getting less attention is that there's a decent amount of opposition to the health care bill within the party ranks and that's driving some of those voters over to...

John Ensign's not very popular, but if the current political climate persists in 2012 he might be able to get reelected anyway. Ensign's approval rating is just 38% with 44% of voters in the state disapproving of him. Yet at the same time he leads three potential Democratic opponents for reelection by margins of 2-11 points. It's 43-41 against Oscar Goodman, 49-40 against Shelley Berkley, and 47-36 against Ross Miller. Those numbers say a lot about the priorities of voters in Nevada right now- they might not like Ensign on a personal level but having soured on Barack Obama and...

This video clip is from a BBC documentary about fire ants. These ants build a raft out of worker ants in an attempt to save the Queen and the colony during a flood. There amazing instinct to survive show you why they are probably the most dominant life form on earth, withstanding almost any curve ball nature throws at them. Makes you think about the way the capitalist spirit has allowed America to become the most prosperous and successful society the world has ever seen. Throughout our history, we have withstood every curve ball our enemies thrown at us, in...

SNIPPET: "I had an interesting demonstration this evening from a hacker who goes by the handle “The Jester” or in so-called l33t speak, th3j35t3r which is his Twitter ID. Since January 1, The Jester has been systematically wreaking havoc with several websites he associates with Al Quiada and Jihadists via a Denial of Service attack delivered over the web through an anonimizer service. The Jester has been documenting his attacks against www.alemarah.info, www.radicalislam.org, islamicpoint.net, www.almaghrib.org, www.as-ansar.com, www.islamicnetwork.com, www.islamicawakening.com, www.ansarnet.info, since the beginning of 2010." The Political Economy of Malthus Bethany Stotts, January 14, 2010 Those unfamiliar with the happenings at Modern Language Association (MLA) annual conventions might wonder why it is that Sarah Palin’s stance on sex education received mention during a panel on “Major Romantic Writers.” However, New York University Professor Maureen McLane considered the connection relevant enough to also reference Palin in her speech title. “[Thomas R. Malthus] envisions a feedback loop so nearly immediate that, unless checks intervene, desire moves to sex moves to children in a figurative instant,” said the English professor during her lecture on “Malthus Our Contemporary? Parsons,...

John Charlton reported three weeks ago that, “… Obama made his first official move to corrupt and undermine the 2010 elections… The move consisted in the little noticed appointment of a technical adviser ,Edwin B. Smith, III, to the Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC) of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).” Smith is known to have been the vice president of manufacturing, compliance, quality and certification at Sequoia Voting Systems, which is a company that makes voting machines, and it has been at the center of infamous voting irregularities in different elections across the country. Sequoia has secured the voting...

In the 1990s, I was a Senior Fellow at the American Economic Foundation, which was the group that developed the Ten Pillars during the Great Depression. The organization wanted to remind Americans that freedom works. It was my job with the Foundation to teach the same lesson in seminars in the former Soviet Union and how these principles could be a light to a region that suffered from decades of totalitarianism. Today, the US is slipping into a command economy of its own where the government will seek to be in charge of all things. Today, with the Obama Administration,...

Sarah Palin is scheduled to speak at the Southern Young Republican Conference in April. Her book tour managed to avoid “blue” parts of the country for “red’. She is sitting on a minimum of 6 million dollars as the first installment on her book. Individuals waited hours in awful weather to have her sign a copy of the book. She has made the requisite non denials of her intentions vis a vis running for President. The Dems were using Alaska’s ethics regulations to make her life miserable and sink any chance she had for national prominence. Their antics simply made...

Some of you have asked us to further explain the difference between Concern Trolls and Eeyores. Well, here goes. Concern Troll = someone who posts on a board, forum, or article and says things like: * “You know, I really like Scott Brown, but it’s Massachusetts, and even though he’s had a surge, it’s Massachusetts, so we should stop phone-banking or working hard and just give up. It’s Massachusetts”. * “Oh, I’ve been so proud of how hard Hillary Clinton has been fighting, but there’s no way she’s going to win Ohio. This is the best board ever, and we...

The Massachusetts Senate race is now a toss up. Buoyed by a huge advantage with independents and relative disinterest from Democratic voters in the state, Republican Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley 48-47. Here are the major factors leading to this surprising state of affairs: -As was the case in the Gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia last year, it looks like the electorate in Massachusetts will be considerably more conservative than the one that showed up in 2008. Obama took the state by 26 points then, but those planning to vote next week only report having voted for him...
