depicts the brutal assassination of President Donald Trump, raising the question of whether the news reporting outlets should retain their credentials to cover and have access to President Trump. Delta Airlines and Bank of America have reportedly dropped their support for the play in the wake of public outrage over the play’s depiction of Trump’s assassination. Screen images via Michael Delauzon/Twitter. The play, a Shakespeare in the Park production of Julius Caesar, is set in the modern era with Trump as Caesar and his wife Melania as Calpurnia. Trump is murdered in a scene that has been describes as unusually...

The strange case of an Iraqi agent caught operating on American soil. His arrest may be the first of many. KHALED DUMEISI, a newspaper publisher in northern Illinois, was surprised when federal agents showed up at a modest condominium in suburban Chicago to arrest the man known to his colleagues in Iraqi intelligence as "Sirhan." He shouldn't have been shocked. First, the FBI, according to a complaint unsealed Wednesday in Illinois, had the goods on Sirhan. Among his offenses: supplying false press credentials for Iraqi intelligence agents; spying on Iraqi opposition leaders--at times, using a mini-camera implanted in the end...

A protester holds a flower out to riot police outside the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota September 4, 2008. Police offered her a vase for her flower and then arrested her for possessing a Minnesota Yellow Gerbera Daisy, which is on the state endangered list. Illegal harvesting or sale of the flower carries a $30,000 fine and two years in prison. Semi-literate Code Pink Activist Janet Macaroni holds up a sign in support of "WAR" before collapsing from the weight of her handmade vinyl banner. Since the august body of Freepers have proven to be more reliable than that of "mainstream" press giants CBS, what would it take for an elite team of posters from FreeRepublic to actually acquire press credentials to cover events? We do better research, have more rapid reporting and more active people to actually pursue the news. Could there be a special membership level that we could purchase to get us credentials, so we may interview power players, and attend events that would otherwise be blocked to "non-press"? Paul

Still slamming WND Posted: February 4, 20041:00 a.m. Eastern © 2004 WorldNetDaily.com I thought the whole issue of WorldNetDaily's press credentials was over and done with. I didn't think I would ever have to talk about this issue again. For me, I would prefer to discuss the great issues of the day rather than revisit the petty political shenanigans of a clique of self-serving journalists with no respect for the new media and a free press. But here we go again. The most recent issue of the Online Journalism Review, a publication of the well-endowed USC Annenberg School of Journalism, has raised...
