Well, he wants to raise personal income tax by 2%. So the headline is a little misleading, but some of the richer folks are already paying close to 50% on their income in taxes.

The funnier part is that the guy who want to defund the police, decriminalize many offense and make prison optional is also promising an increase in public safety. Yeah, sure, right.

Even though DJT deserves immense credit for ending 8 wars, and working on ending another, it's wrong to get upset for not "winning" an award for which he had little to no chance anyway.

It's the Nobel committee's decision to award their prizes to anyone for any reason. However unfair.

It's their award to dispense however however they choose.

That said, the Nobel awards lose cred for their choice and their gauzie rationale.

President Trump is probably negotiating in public with his Tomahawk remarks, as he often does.

Getting the best price and terms from Ukraine and their other supporters - not giving away the Tomahawks cheaply. They are precious and limited.

But they still loom over Putin’s head, if he crosses Trump.

Discussions tomorrow with president Zelensky, and next week with putin, will likely determine how many Tomahawks Ukraine might get.

I watched a lot of this debate. Mamdani is going to win this race easily. Cuomo looks and sounds like a dug up corpse - which he is. Sliwa is much better but he has the “angry white grandpa” thing to contend with. Mamdani’s answers are nonsense but he is young, telegenic, and sounds like he knows what he is talking about…to the uninformed, at least.

For now. Socialism is, among other things, inefficient. That 2% hike won’t be near enough to pay for all of Mamdani’s idiotic schemes.

So that tax rate will have to go up. And the people it affects will have to broaden.

I just hope Mamdani won’t resort to shooting rich folks like Stalin did.
