Free Republic

I've been reading about and watching stories about all the Africans who are suffering from various things. This won't be nice, but I am increasingly reaching the point where I don't care about their problems. If they want to reproduce like rabbits, engage in homosexual sex, and misappropriate the money we give them, then the heck with them. I think it's time for them to take responsibility for what they do. That would be the best thing.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I've had it up to my eyebrows with all the fake testimonials on TV ads. People claim to have lost 200 pounds in two weeks, made $5000 in a month, etc. All lies. I am very much against government regulation, but I think these people should be required to sign affidavits that they actually did what they claim to have done.

This evening, I went over and turned over my neighbor's picnic table. He will know that it was me who did that. He is a very mean man. Last morning, he snapped at me and my dog for walking across the alley from him while he was sitting at that table. We normally try to stay well away from him. But sometimes, a little revenge feels good. I didn't hurt anything, but it won't be all that easy for him to put things right again. It took a little effort to turn it over. Both hands.

Sometimes I lay away at night and think about all the the things I've done which I regret. This is no fun. Close to the top of the list is turning down an invitation to go to the "Sadie Hawkins" dance with the class nerd when I was in the eighth grade. She was homely, but her main problem was that she had an IQ of about 180. I first accepted. I quite liked her. The other boys razzed me to the point where I canceled. If I had that to do over again, I would get the nicest corsage...
