A chaotic scene unfolded in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Friday in which a woman was flung into the air after being struck by a car during a police chase. The Milton Police Department, along with help from Barboursville Police, WV State Police, and the WV DNR has arrested a man after a wild police chase. According to a release, Milton Police asked to speak to Justin Brafford at a Marathon gas station. Instead of speaking with officers, Brafford sped off westbound on U.S. Route 60 in his pickup truck.

Virginia State Police troopers have joined the pursuit of a tractor-trailer that started in Germantown, Md. The chase started on Interstate 270 after an incident with police. The driver of the Western Express truck refused to stop. Stop sticks have been used to deflate the tires, but the truck has continued into Virginia and is at Tysons Corner. Montgomery County police and Maryland State Police also are involved in the pursuit. No injuries have been reported.

A man fleeing police at speeds in excess of 120 mph was arrested after crashing into two other cars in separate incidents during a midafternoon chase on northbound state Route 163. San Francisco -- Police cars chasing a suspect need to have more than flashing lights and a siren if a driver is charged with evading police, the California Supreme Court said Monday. In clarifying a key element necessary to convict a motorist of evading police, the court said the vehicle must look like an official police car.
