Defiant Trump makes bold return to Butler, Pa., ‘in the aftermath of tragedy and heartache’ 3 months after first assassination attempt

BUTLER, Pa. — An undaunted former President Donald Trump returned Saturday to the Butler Farm Show grounds in Pennsylvania to finally finish the rally where he came within a quarter inch of death three months ago.

“A very big thank you to Pennsylvania. We love Pennsylvania, and as I was saying —,” Trump said to a thunderous applause, while standing in front of bulletproof glass at the exact spot where he was shot nearly three months ago.

“Tonight, I return to Butler in the aftermath of tragedy and heartache to deliver a simple message to the people of Pennsylvania and to the people of America.

“Our movement to make America great again stands stronger, prouder, more united, more determined and nearer to victory than ever before.”

Flanked by top MAGA stars, Trump hoped to galvanize his supporters in the crucial battleground state and transform the tragic memory of July 13 into a message of resilience, proving that he and his movement are more alive than ever, even as security concerns loom large.

Supporters flocked to the showgrounds hours before Trump’s arrival, and Pennsylvania State Police officials estimated the crowd at 21,000 people.

“I will never quit, I will never bend, I will never break, I will never yield — not even in the face of death itself,” Trump proclaimed. “We have fought together. We have endured together. We have pushed onward together. And right here in Pennsylvania, we have bled together.”

Trump commenced his speech by rattling off a bevy of thank yous, conveying gratitude to all the first responders for leaping into action when bullets started flying on July 13. Chants of “Corey” broke out from the audience at one point.

Trump has more courage and integrity in his baby finger than the entire US feral government.

Pennsylvania - home to the 1st and 2nd Continental Congress, birthplace of the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Army and the American Revolutionary War itself. Where the last blow of the September 11th 2001 terror attacks fell, thwarted by citizen soldiers. Much to remember there, much to honor. A place that has been pivotal in much of our history, adding more to it periodically.

“It took THREE ADULTS TO WRITE THIS!!”

The first used AI to “write ‘ it, the second used AI to”humanize” the piece, and the third person edited it.

This one was emotional and very special for good reason. The musical finale by tenor Christopher Macchio was super and the music was very patriotic with a religious tone. It made the rally one of a kind and I have watched and attended a lot of them.

With all due respect to President Trump, that's a low bar.

That finale had me spellbound... I nearly lost it when Christopher Macchio sang How Great Thou Art. I have seen many rallies... this was a one of a kind to cherish forever.

Sort of took on the aura at the end of an old time religious revival with people singing along. I love the operatic tenor voice. Macchio is not rated as high as the three great classic male operatic tenors but with the help of a microphone he still can belt it out. He has a much more varied conventional repertoire than just operatic pieces.

I hope he has his own security team and if SS says no he can’t then he must dismiss SS. Butler is too much a temptation for the Party to liquidate him and SS will leave different holes in security of which somehow the designated assassination team will be informed and CNN which ONLY covers Trump rallies when there is an assassin on duty.

President Trump returns to the site of the assassination attempt.

Not even Presidents Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley or Kennedy had opportunity to do that.

Problem.with that is no private security team has LEO powers, especially on public land. They can’t place security people in private buildings if the owner declines. They cannot wven remove a person from the area if that person seems a threat. All they can do is call a cop.

“I will never quit, I will never bend, I will never break, I will never yield...”

I’ve done all four and more than once each. :)

Well now at 56, I would bend...I’d just break!

He means it. He is an extremely unusual human being.

I didn’t say he’s perfect.

But he’s perfect for the job he is running for.

SS doesn’t permit private security or anyone but themselves and local police. That, itself is the danger. Perhaps Trump needs an earpiece and private security people who dress in jeans and just wander around to cover sensitive spots and keep their radios in their pockets until they see something and call Trump to get down. Bluetooth earpieces too much ? I don’t trust SS now even a little bit. SS ostensibly screwed up twice. But SS doesn’t screw up for Democrats.

“SS doesn’t permit private security “

Erik Prince mentioned that in an interview after J13. When ANY person’s life is at risk, he should be able to choose whomever he wants to protect him. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that PDJT is FORCED to be “protected” by people who are committed to seeing him dead.
