President Biden warned that the money for a disaster aid loan program used by survivors of Hurricane Helene and other calamities will soon dry up without intervention from Congress.
In a letter to the four congressional leaders on Friday, Mr. Biden said the Small Business Administration’s program is on the verge of going broke before Congress is slated to return after the Nov. 5 election.
The loans are a “critical lifeline” that act as the “largest source of Federal disaster recovery funds,” he said, adding that $1.2 billion is needed to refill the program’s coffers. Lawmakers are out of town until Nov. 12.
“I warned the Congress of this potential shortfall even before Hurricane Helene landed on America’s shores,” Mr. Biden said.

Didn’t the fiscal year start 5 days ago? Oct 1 begins the fiscal year and the entirety of their 2025 budget should have just be released to them.

On one hand, desperate elite Democrats and their global warming alarmist friends push the politically correct narrative that global warming is responsible for increased hurricane activity.
On the other hand, they not only fail to have hurricane disaster aid ready when one strikes during hurricane season, but provide only paltry relief in a pivotal election year.
Since career federal lawmakers have repeatedly proven that they are enemies of the people imo, it is now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to effectively "impeach and remove" ALL (exceptions?) federal lawmakers and executives in November, likewise for renegade states.
In fact, it's up to us Trump supporters to take the first MAJOR step in draining the swamp by supporting hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress, new state lawmakers too, not only so that he will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.
Finally, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.

I freely admit I’m not as smart as Trump. When he mentioned eating dogs and cats, I thought: There he goes again. It turns out, it was genius. It forced the media to acknowledge that Springfield was being overrun.
