GRETNA, La. (AP) -- A teenage suspect driving a stolen car was shot by police during a chase near New Orleans as he traded gunfire with patrol cars and struck one officer with his vehicle while plowing through a barricade, authorities said.
The 17-year-old suspect, who had an outstanding warrant on aggravated assault charges, was shot in the stomach and taken to a New Orleans hospital, said Jefferson Parish sheriff's spokesman John Fortunato.

The suspect was identified as Ray John Brown, 17, of New Orleans.
Let me guess. The suspect is a direct descendant of King Louis and is pissed over the Louisiana Purchase, correct?
