We don’t live in a communist country where jobs are assigned according to intellect or bulk. Police and firefighters weren’t drafted. If you chose to be one, I applaud you but that being said, that doesn’t mean you get to tell us how much you get paid because you chose a job that potentially puts your life in peril. Teachers do far more than impart knowledge to our children. They provide role models that chidren can emulate in their daily lives. But what kind of examples are the striking teachers in Madison providing to the children there? For starters, they abandoned the children when their puppet masters in the union called, leaving them to fend for themselves so they could take to the street in an organized effort to delegitimize and undermine the duly elected government of the sovereign state of Wisconsin.
