Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuit against MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell can move forward after the Supreme Court on Monday declined to consider Lindell’s attempt to block the case. No vote count was made public. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson did not take part in consideration of the case. Dominion is seeking $1.3 billion in damages, claiming it was harmed by unfounded statements from Lindell and other allies of former President Donald Trump that Dominion rigged its machines in favor of Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. GLAAD, the speech Stasi for all things LGBT, blasted Politico for using the phrase in reference to a less-than-brutal debate exchange between South Bend, Indiana Mayor Buttigieg (who is gay) and Sen. What started as a lighthearted tradition meant to build camaraderie, transformed into chaos on Aug. 20 when the United States Military Academy at West Point’s annual pillow fight turned bloody, leaving 30 freshmen injured, investigators said Wednesday. Nicknamed “plebes,” first-year students are responsible for organizing the pillow fight, held almost every year since 2001.

Weaponized pillows. That's a new one. I’m not much for “spirit events” - and I’ve never been in the Armed Forces - so don’t take my lack of familiarity as disdain for the idea in general.
