Politicians who enacted strict COVID-19 measures including lockdowns and vaccine mandates should be brought to justice, says Republican Maryland Attorney General candidate Michael Peroutka. “Nothing could be more on the point that all these lockdowns, mandates, orders, edicts, proclamations, declarations, whatever you want to call them, none of them were lawful. They were all violation of the law, and that can’t continue,” Peroutka told The Epoch Times. “Those people who have violated this document [the Maryland Constitution] need to be brought to justice.” He believes that implementing the restrictions was an abuse of power under the Maryland Constitution, citing Article...

I received a particularly thoughtful and uplifting message from the former Constitution Party presidential candidate Mike Peroutka's site recently, and thought that I'd share it. Dear Friends of the Constitutional Republic, During this Christmas Season, as we buy gifts and trim trees and greet relatives and friends, we hear much about the circumstances of the birth of Christ. As we prepare for the celebration of Christmas, we rehearse the Gospel stories of the coming of our Savior by remembering the wise men, the star they followed (as a child I was always fascinated by the camels they rode), the manger,...

The following statement has been issued by Michael Anthony Peroutka, the Presidential candidate of the Constitution Party in 2004. He is also co-founder, with his brother Steve, of “Institute On The Constitution.” And he is co-host, with John Lofton, of “The American View” radio show. I endorse Rep. Ron Paul for President. And I endorse him not because he is the lesser of two evils. A Christian can never endorse any kind of evil. I endorse Rep. Paul because — from a Christian/Biblical and Constitutional perspective – he is, by far, the best candidate running for President. — Rep. Paul...

Peroutka slams big-money presidential hopefulsJim BrownOneNewsNow.com April 5, 2007A former presidential candidate laments that only the 2008 presidential candidates who raise the most campaign cash will make it through the "filters" of the mainstream media. He suggests that those candidates dubbed by the media as leading contenders, based on that criteria alone, should matter little to Christian voters.Senator Hillary Clinton (D-New York) has announced she has raised $26 million in first-quarter campaign fundraising this year (her reported total of $36 million includes $10 million transferred from her 2006 Senate campaign account). Rival presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) nearly matched...

http://conservativepresident2008.blogspot.com/2006/12/constitution-party-to-select-candidate.html The Constitution Party, a conservative third party founded in 1992 to serve as a possible ticket for Pat Buchanan to run on, plans to have nominated its candidate for President by July 2007, World Net Daily reports. The party held a national committee meeting last weekend where Howard Phillips, who is the party's founder and three time Presidential candidate (1992, 1996 and 2000), told World Net Daily "The time has never been better for a third party dark horse candidate to grab the White House." Phillips said that the party will nominate candidate next year and among the possibilities...

Our 58th “The American View” analyzes President Bush’s amazing nationally-televised address on immigration in which he now says the immigration issue is “urgent” and our borders must be made secure. And he says this after five-a-half years of doing nothing but advocating a guest-worker program which will make the illegal alien problem worse! Hear it now!

Stephen G. Peroutka, chairman of the board of governors for the National Pro-Life Action Center (NPLAC), issued the following statement calling for the withdrawal of Harriet Miers' nomination as associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States: "The time has come for President Bush to realize and accept that his nomination of Harriet Miers to replace retiring Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court was ill-advised and he should withdraw her nomination. With 45 million children's lives lost to abortion, the stakes are simply too high to gamble on another 'stealth' candidate. If the president remains reluctant...

Stephen G. Peroutka, chairman of the board of governors for the National Pro-Life Action Center (NPLAC), issued the following response to President Bush’s nomination of Harriet Miers to replace Justice Sandra Day O’Connor: “Pro-life and pro-family conservatives supported President Bush’s campaign because he promised to appoint judges in the mold of Scalia and Thomas. With 45 million children’s lives lost to abortion, the on-going threat to the definition of marriage, and the continuing attack on the family itself, the stakes are too high to gamble on another ‘stealth’ candidate. “While Ms. Miers may be satisfactory to President Bush, there is...

It is another detailed look — with new material — at the views of President Bush’s nominee to the Supreme Court John Roberts. On this program: We examine in-depth Robert’s helping homosexual activists achieve special rights and perpetuate their agenda by playing a key role in the Romer v. Evans case they won before the Supreme; we ask why Roberts had no “moral” or “religious”...

Kelly McGinley, whom the GOP barred from running for the state school board, sued the party, the secretary of state's office and elections officials in Mobile and Baldwin counties. In a December 16, 2004 National Review Online article "A Pro-Life Mistake" , Attorney Clark D. Forsythe of Americans United for Life recommended that State Legislators cease and desist in the introduction of legislation prohibiting abortion in their States. Attorney Forsythe counseled that since the Supreme Court is not pro-life (despite the fact that Republican Presidents appointed a super-majority, seven out of nine, of those Justices), it would be folly to introduce such legislation at this time. An old proverb comes to mind, "If not now, when?" On November 2, 2004, the American electorate voted into office a Republican President,...

Where's Christian/Conservative Outrage Over Gonzales' Support For Godless, Lawless Pro-Abortion Court Rulings? Dear Friends of the Constitutional Republic, The headline on a recent Joe Klein column in “Time” magazine (1/17/05) was “Where’s The Outrage?” He was writing about the Senate confirmation hearing of Judge Alberto Gonzales, President Bush’s choice to be the next Attorney General. Mr. Klein’s point was that there should have been outrage --- but wasn’t --- because Judge Gonzales “was complicit, at the very least, in the Bush Administration’s decision to use severe physical interrogation techniques on detainees at Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib and elsewhere.” He complains that...

Dear Friends of the Constitutional Republic, The headline on a recent "New York Times" story (1/13/05) was definitely an eye-catcher. It read: "Kennedy Warns Democrats Not To Be Republican Clones." The story was reporting on a "defiant" speech at the National Press Club in Washington DC by Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) in which he warned his fellow Democrats not to become "Republican clones" in response to George Bush's re-election. Kennedy, accusing the White House of using "scare tactics" to try and push through changes in Social Security, is quoted as saying: "The biggest threat to Social Security today is not...

Dear Friends of the Republic,Reacting to the tsunami disaster from his Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas, President Bush said he and Laura were shocked and saddened by this terrible loss of life. He said: “We pledged an initial $35 million in relief assistance.” He noted, proudly, that in 2004, the U.S. Government had provided $2.4 billion in food, cash, in humanitarian relief, to cover disasters the previous year. He said that providing 40 percent of all the “relief aid” given in the world in 2003 shows “we’re a very generous, kindhearted nation.” “We?” Did Mr. Bush mean he and...

The real issue here is whether such so-called Federally-funded disaster “relief” is Constitutional. And the answer is very clear: No, it is not. There isn’t the slightest Constitutional authority for Federal tax dollars to be spent for disaster “relief.” Thus, any such expenditure of Federal tax dollars for disaster “relief” --- foreign or domestic --- is illegal, unlawful.

I Am A Conservative Christian, And The Religious Right Scares Me, Too -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Chuck Baldwin -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Covenant News ~ December 15, 2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those readers who are unfamiliar with my biography, let me here provide a thumbnail sketch of my conservative bona fides: I attended, graduated, or received degrees from fundamentalist Christian schools such as Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan, Thomas Road Bible Institute (now known as Liberty Bible Institute at Liberty University) in Lynchburg, Virginia, Christian Bible College in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. I am currently in my...

Barring unforeseen (and astonishing) developments, President Bush will take a step closer to reelection today as the 538 presidential electors meet in each of the state capitals and the District of Columbia. The electors will fill out ballots, which will be sealed in an envelope from each state and sent to Washington, to be opened on Jan. 6 by the president of the Senate, who will read the results before both houses of Congress. The swearing-in of the new (or, in this case, reelected) president will occur at noon on inauguration day, Jan. 20.

Presidential Nomination Acceptance Remarks Michael A. Peroutka June 25, 2004 Mr. Chairman, Madam Secretary, Members of the National Executive Committee, Delegates to the Constitution Party Convention, Members of the Constitution Party, My fellow Americans, Dear Brothers and Sisters… I am proud and honored and humbled to accept the nomination of the Constitution Party for the Office of President of these united States. Just four months ago in Maryland, when I publicly announced that I would seek this nomination, we talked about the cultural and spiritual decline that we see all about us in America today. We expressed our deep concern...
