A man whose self-professed fetish for slashing exercise balls with a knife — which has gotten him in trouble with the law at least twice previously — has been arrested again. Duluth Police said Christopher Neil Bjerkness, of Duluth, Minn., was arrested on Sunday afternoon after he broke into Chester Creek Academy, a school connected with Northwood Children’s Services. The room he was in was meant for physical therapy, and contained a number of inflatable exercise balls. When the alarm rang and staffers arrived, none of the balls had been damaged. A West Virginia man found wearing women's underwear and standing over a goat's carcass told police he was high on bath salts. Mark L. Thompson of Alum Creek was arrested at his home Monday. A criminal complaint in Kanawha County Magistrate Court charges the 19-year-old with cruelty to animals. Sheriff's Deputy J.S. Shackelford says witnesses reported Thompson standing near a neighbor's pygmy goat in a bedroom. He was wearing a bra and female underwear. The goat, a male named Bailey, had at least one stab wound. WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (AP) – A Wisconsin postal carrier says he simply wanted to cheer up a woman on his mail rounds who seemed “stressed out.” But, upon further review, the postal worker says delivering the mail in the nude probably wasn’t such a good idea. A police report says the 52-year-old man told the woman he would deliver the mail to her office in Whitefish Bay completely naked to make her laugh. He says the woman dared him to do it, so he took the dare Dec. 4 and brought the mail wearing only a smile.
