This is an interesting explanation of the prophecies of Enoch. It seems to line up with Scripture and real world events. I recommend watching it.

Recently a young mother complained to me that a non-Mormon family member had given her children the They Might Be Giants album Here Comes Science, which contains a song about evolution called "My Brother the Ape" (check out the great cartoon music video). She was uncomfortable with the lyrics because she felt they were incompatible with Mormonism, the Bible, America, and apple pie. Probably baseball too. I didn't challenge her views about Mormons and evolution, because the conversation didn't occur in the right context and I have been trying to listen more and shout out my own opinion less. (I...

So Alinsky dedicates his book, Rules For Radicals, to Lucifer. His explanation is that Lucifer was “the first radical” and that he rebelled against the establishment. Alinsky wrote “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins—or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—Lucifer.” It never ceases to amaze me. The way socialists defeat themselves again and...

Natalie Maines has always been the Dixie Chicks' mouth. As lead singer, she not only fronts the band on stage but is often its spokeswoman. She was known for speaking her mind well before the now infamous comment that started a backlash against the popular country music group. Back in 2003 at a London concert on the eve of the Iraq war, Maines was just being herself when she said: "Just so you know, we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas." The reaction that followed stunned Maines and bandmates Martie Maguire and Emily Robison. Suddenly, the...

EUREKA, Calif. (AP) - Honk if you're glad the geese are gone. Humboldt Bay ranchers are overjoyed that hungry hordes of the messy fowl are finally on their way north to nest. Ravenous Aleutian cackling geese have been eating up their pasture. The Aleutian geese, once an endangered species, now number at least 60,000 and many like to feast on the sweet spring grasses of the Humboldt Bay bottomlands. They'll nest in the wind-chilled Aleutian Islands - then eventually head back to the land of the worried ranchers to fortify themselves again. A survey last month found 10,000 of the...

Kerry’s March 13, 1969, “Medals” According to the records, Kerry claimed in the casualty report he prepared on March 13, 1969, that he was wounded as a result of a mine explosion. Within a short period, he presented his request to go home on the basis of three Purple Hearts. By March 17, 1969, Kerry’s short career in Vietnam was over. Regarding the action on March 13.1969, Kerry’s medals were once again a complete fraud. Notwithstanding the fake submission for his Bronze Star, Kerry was never wounded or bleeding from his arm. All reports, including the medical reports, make clear...

WASHINGTON -- Vietnam combat records posted on John F. Kerry's campaign website for the month of January 1969 as evidence of his service aboard swift boat No. 94 describe action that occurred before Kerry was skipper of that craft, according to the officer who said he commanded the boat at the time. On the site, the Massachusetts senator is described as the skipper of Navy boat No. 94 during several actions in late January 1969. However, Edward Peck, who was the skipper of the 94 before Kerry took over, said combat reports posted by the campaign for January 1969 involve...
