Fox News political analyst Juan Williams is being lambasted on Twitter for his controversial comments about the tragic murder of Uber Eats driver Mohammad Anwar by two teenage girls. Williams, who co-hosts the Fox News show 'The Five', said, "I don’t think they intended to kill anybody. They were looking to have a joy ride. It just went way wrong, way out of control, and ended up in a gross tragedy." His usage of the term 'joy ride' led to a storm of controversy on social media as users slammed him for 'sticking up for those murderers'. Co-host Jesse Watters...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) implied during a Wednesday press conference that President Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, has been "complicit" in her father's actions, which the lawmaker described as "not acting in the interest of the American people." Pelosi's remarks came after she was asked about comments Ivanka Trump made during an interview on "CBS This Morning." CBS host Gayle King had asked Trump to address those who say she is "complicit" in her father's White House. "In an interview today, Ivanka Trump said, ‘I don't know what it means to be complicit' and that ‘not to...

I know FreeRepublic is not for profit. I understand that any changes that are done to it are "unencumbered" by any feasible plan. But you are driving me nuts, John! Think things through from my perspective. I don't have time to play around figuring out all the subtle differences between on Alpha release and the Next. Do the right thing. Beta. Test. Don't break what isn't broken. Never, ever, do anything that breaks a bookmark. I understand that playgrounds are fun, but I, for one, don't have time to coddle you whilst you are playing!

A screaming intruder made it onto the front lawn of the White House Sunday while President Bush was at home before being apprehended by Secret Service officers. Secret Service spokesman Eric Zahren described the man as "someone who has come to our attention in the past as a fence jumper." The bearded man, wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt that said "God Bless America," jumped the fence outside the White House and ran across the north lawn while repeatedly yelling, "I am a victim of terrorism!" Members of the Secret Service emergency response team, including one holding a barking...

I just heard that Bush and company is trying to pass a law that adds extra taxs to cheap beer like Milwaukee best and naturl light. He is going to raise the taxs on these bears by a nikel so he can recoop his money loses in the irag war. He and his old guys party the repitleublicans want to sock to the little guy and college guys like me who can only offord cheap bear and not the good stuff like all you chumps drink that sam adems and budwizer and coors lite and other big shot drinks. Give me a brake. Bush is not going to tax those bears because all his rich buddys drike them so he will tax all the people that didnt vote for him in the erection of 04. It is pay back for us not cow towing to his right wing aganda that only serves to destory the poor and working stifs like me and my mom and dad. So when I go to by some natey lite toniht with my fake id (scew the govement!!!) I will stock up and by maybe 3 or4 cases to hold me over so Bush won't be able to tax me and my bear and get himself out of that mess of a war in the muddle east. If I were you I would do the same and show Bush and his company of hooligans that we can't be taxed and tricked like little cirus animals that are beaten to dance and do tricks for use humans. Have a good day and don't let them know your on to them, that you know that they are trying to keep us down. Slowly now slowly we turn the tide!!!!

I have been called old, jaded, a sourpuss. Far worse, I have been called French. A response is in order. A week later, do I stand by my views? Yes. If I wrote it today I wouldn't be softer, but harder.

Americans who value the Constitution should stand with Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., and oppose George Bush's attempted power grab in conjunction with establishing a Department of Homeland Security. The Bushies are trying to frame the debate as either protecting bureaucracy or providing security for Americans. In fact, the debate is about preventing an authoritarian president from sacrificing the Constitution in the name of providing security. Let me remind you that those who prefer security to freedom will lose both. Bush wants to be able to disregard labor contracts and civil-service rules, as well as move money within the department as...
