Stupid politicians are listening to stupid anarchists who want license to rampage across urban areas without repercussions. Law enforcement is under violent siege as they battle these monsters night after night, month after month. Police are leaving the profession in droves; not just because of the working conditions, but because stupid city governments refuse to support them. The result is a massive police shortage across the country, especially in large blue cities. Police departments are also facing a recruiting crisis because qualified individuals are deciding they wouldn't touch the law enforcement profession with a 10-foot pole. "It's the perfect storm,"...

But why is history so important? In this highly connected age of the Internet of Things, why is it necessary to understand anything that happened before the invention of smartphones? In a poll conducted by Victims of Communism, only 57% of millennials believe the Declaration of Independence (which made free men out of slaves) better guarantees freedom and equality over the Communist Manifesto (which makes slaves out of free men). Fifteen percent of millennials think "the world would be better off if the Soviet Union still existed." Seventy percent of millennials said they are likely to vote socialist. The seduction...

At various times over the last four years, I've wished I could communicate directly with President Trump to express my gratitude. Then it occurred to me: I have this column as a platform. While I have no hope he will actually see this editorial, I would like to submit an open letter to the president.(See comment for the letter. Thanks Patrice.)

I'm posting this review because today is the official launch of Patrice Lewis's book, The Simplicity Primer. Patrice is a regular columnist for World Net Daily and blogs at Rural-Revolution.com. She's a rural, homeschooling housewife and a staunch conservative. If you like the sound of her book, and it's currently priced under $10, order it from Amazon today! It will help boost her rankings and get her book off to a great start. And no, I'm not her agent or publisher! My life as an ordinary stay-at-home wife and mom can be so complicated sometimes. Is yours? There’s (always) laundry...

Confession time. It always bugs me when I see a politician darken the doorway of a church. This is counterintuitive, of course. I mean, here's the one door politicians should darken more frequently, in my opinion. Most politicians need a whole lotta churchin'. But the reason it bugs me is I always wonder if they're darkening that door for sincere spiritual reasons, or for photo ops. Too often it's proven to be the latter, not the former. The distinction can generally be made by how many news cameras are on hand and how much the politician smiles and waves. I...
