Ronald Reagan famously quipped that the most terrifying sentence in the English language is “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.” Truly, Ronaldus Magnus was more right than he ever knew. Behold your friendly government agent, who is only here to help, courtesy the Denver Post. It’s not quite the Gadsden Flag, but this image is fast becoming the symbol of the new “Don’t touch my junk” movement. Whether to let government agents touch us where the sun don’t shine or not is no longer an academic question. It’s happening to more and more fliers every day,...

Now that TSA has passed this new rule that you either submit to a pornographic image of your body or to a pat down means that now TSA will have to re-screen all of its agents to determine their sexual orientation. After the TSA determines whether each of its agents is heterosexual, gay men, lesbian or bisexual, then it must also require that all passengers declare their sexual orientation so that heterosexual passengers can only be searched by heterosexual TSA agents and gay male passengers can only be searched by TSA agents who are gay males and lesbian passengers can...

As passengers traveled through Denver International Airport on Wednesday in advance of the Thanksgiving rush, some invoked their constitutional right against unreasonable search, while others were more forgiving of efforts to keep travel safe. Jeffrey "Gator" Henry of Charlotte, N.C., moved through security in skimpy gym shorts and a sleeveless tank top as part of his plan to reject screening by advanced imaging machines — the devices that use either millimeter-wave or backscatter X-ray technology — and to request a pat-down instead. "It's an invasion of privacy," said Henry, a television and film producer, as he waited at DIA's A...

A women from Ohio appeared on Hannity in which she said she was sexually assaulted by a TSA agent before flying. The irony of the allegation is that it comes after a Democratic Senator recently called the crotch gropes “love pats”.

Note to terrorists: Next time, wear a hijab. The Department of Homeland Security reportedly is giving special exemptions to their "enhanced pat-down" policy to Muslim women wearing the hijab or other form-concealing garments.Last week, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a "travel advisory" noting that women who are patted down "should remind the TSA officer that they are only supposed to pat down the area in question, in this scenario, your head and neck. They SHOULD NOT subject you to a full-body or partial-body pat-down." It's unclear why CAIR believes TSA frisking must be Shariah-compliant. Homeland Security Secretary...

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has crossed the line. As if subjecting millions of Americans to X-rated x-ray scans and public groping sessions weren't bad enough, the agency now threatens $11,000 in fines against anyone refusing to submit to humiliation at the airport. Oceanside, Calif., resident John Tyner found this out after he posted on YouTube a video of his degrading encounter with TSA screeners. Mr. Tyner's catchy phrase, "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested," spread quickly, thanks to attention provided by the Drudge Report. TSA was not amused, and an official announced Monday that Mr. Tyner...

But come November 24th, here's an idea you might try to make the day extra-special. It's a one-word idea: Kilts. Think about it -- if you're a male, and you want to bollix-up the nonsensical airport security-industrial complex, one way to do so would be to wear a kilt. If nothing else, this will cause TSA employees to throw up their hands in disgust. If you want to go the extra extra mile, I suggest commando-style kilt-wearing. While it is probably illegal to fly without pants, I can't imagine that it's illegal to fly without underpants.

Complete title:Napolitano: ‘Adjustments,’ ‘More to Come’ on Whether Muslim Women in Hijabs Will Undergo Airport Body Pat-Downs Homesland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. When asked today if she will insist that Muslim women wearing hijabs must go through full body pat downs before boarding planes, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano did not say yes or no, but told CNSNews.com there will be “adjustments” and “more to come” on the issue.“On the pat downs, CAIR [the Council on American-Islamic Relations] has recommended that Muslim women wearing hijabs refuse to go through the full body pat downs before boarding planes,” CNSNews.com asked Napolitano...

Well, it was only a matter of time. But people are pushing back because … for the most part they don’t think this makes them safer. This is just one of the stories on the new TSA pat downs. Steve has posted on it here. But the push back from travelers, flight attendants and pilots continues. HS Secretary Janet Napolitano has asked for cooperation from travelers … but that’s easier said than done. Witness the push back from a San Diego traveler.

CAIR: TSA Can't Pat Down Muslim Women. According to CAIR, the TSA's new "enhanced pat down" policy should be limited to searching only around Muslim women's head and neck if they are wearing a hijab and that Muslims objecting to the enhanced full-body scans have the right to request the pat-down procedure be done in a private place. I have no problem with anyone asking that the pat-down procedures be done in private. However, there is already history of radical Muslims attempting to smuggle bombs onto planes with the explosives hidden on their body. Therefore, the demand that the pat-downs...

Stepped-up security screening at airports in the wake of foiled terrorism plots has provoked an outcry from airline pilots and travelers, including parents of children who say they are too intrusive. Are you less likely to fly because of stepped-up security procedures such as full-body scans and patdowns? Yes - I will make alternate travel plans to avoid intrusive security scans and patdowns No - It is a necessary procedure to ensure terror plots are thwarted Undecided

A growing pilot and passenger revolt over full-body scans and what many consider intrusive pat-downs couldn't have come at a worse time for the nation's air travel system. Thanksgiving, the busiest travel time of the year, is less than two weeks away. Grassroots groups are urging travelers to either not fly or to protest by opting out of the full-body scanners and undergo time-consuming pat-downs instead. Such concerns prompted a meeting Friday of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano with leaders of travel industry groups.

CAIR said Muslims who object to full-body scans for religious reasons should know their rights if they are required to undergo a pat-down, including asking for the procedure to be done in a private place. In addition, CAIR offered a “special recommendation” for Muslim women who wear a hijab, telling them they should tell the TSA officer that they may be searched only around the head and neck.

A lot of people are making their way through airports during this holiday season. And it appears changes are on the way for airline travelers going through airport security. Sources at the Transportation Security Administration confirm they're changing the way they conduct pat-downs. Some women have complained bitterly recently that the more thorough pat-downs to check for explosives just went to far - especially in the breast area. Federal News Radio AM 1050/WTOP has learned the examination in that area, and possibly other areas, will be tempered. People have been searched more intensely, including in intimate areas, since September, after...
