Fox News Channel host Bill O'Reilly and nationally syndicated radio host G. Gordon Liddy are blasting each other in a mini-feud ignited by media libs Paul Begala and Al Franken. The stone throwing apparently started Thursday night, when Begala, hosting "Crossfire," asked Liddy about why his Westwood One colleague O'Reilly "hasn't done very well on radio." Citing a year-old Drudge report, Liddy said the top-rated cable TV host's radio ratings are "in the toilet." "He really doesn't do radio well at all," the G-Man added. Friday afternoon, Liddy guested on Al Franken's radio show, where both hosts took shots at...

Foxnews host Bill O'Reilly just previewed his show. "Problems continue for the U.S. Military in Fallujah. Why doesn't the U.S. Military just go ahead and level it?" I have to say that I agree with Bill. Level the place.

A few weeks ago, I opined that partisan journalism was getting out of control in America and that ideological fanaticism was badly damaging journalistic standards because, in some cases, facts were being altered to fit the agendas of certain reporters and commentators. Now comes more disturbing news about the news. According to an article in The New York Times Magazine, an unpublicized meeting was held in New York City early last December attended by Sen. John Kerry and a number of liberal-leaning journalists, including CNN's Jeff Greenfield, Newsweek's Jonathan Alter, Richard Cohen of The Washington Post and Frank Rich of...

Just FYI for all you Tony Snow fans out there (like me) - he's got Newt on right now. I've never seen him fill in for Bill, so I'm expecting a lot here.

Judeo-Christian Philosophy and the Founding of America by Michael Marriott (February 1, 2004) [www.CapitalismMagazine.com] A curious notion is mushrooming lately on programs such as “The O’Reilly Factor” and other current events shows. Certain commentators claim that the United States of America owes its existence to what is termed “Judeo-Christian” philosophy. Now I will not dispute that such a philosophy exists or that it has proved influential for the past two millennia. I will further stipulate that many persons subscribe to this philosophy’s doctrines, both now and back in the 1700s. What cannot be accepted, either on a philosophical or historical...

I was watching O'Reilly interview Morris about Clarke and other issues. Morris said that in 1995 he had put in a speech for clinton his own "axis of evil" about terrorism and Clarke removed it, he said Clarke was not that serious about terrorism. He said he had to slip his points below Clarkes radar to get it into his 1996 speech.

Homosexual Public Restroom Sex Defended In California Summary: A lawyer defending the "right" of homosexuals to engage in sex in public restroom stalls was on "The O'Reilly Factor" on March 16, 2004. "The O'Reilly Factor" recently featured a heated discussion between Bill O'Reilly and criminal defense attorney Bruce Nickerson over the alleged "right" of homosexuals to engage in sodomy in public restroom stalls in California. Police in Fresno, California, recently arrested 40 homosexuals on lewd and lascivious behavior for having public sex in a park. The sting operation was called "Protecting Our Children." Some of the men were found within...

The Death of Journalistic Ethics There has been a subtle shift in opinion journalism in America in the past few years. Now, we have people working for newspapers and magazines who are devoted to getting certain polticians -- namely the left -- elected to office. While Rush Limbaugh and the right-wing talk show cadre are entertainers -- and describe themselves as such -- these people are embedded in the elite media and are not supposed to be political activists. In a stunning admission in Sunday's New York Times, the following people attended a meeting with Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) in...

In an effort to galvanize the message Kerry wants to deliver in the time remaining, he convened a powerful roster of journalists and columnists in the New York City apartment of Al Franken last Thursday. The gathering could not properly be called a meeting or a luncheon. It was a trial. The journalists served as prosecuting attorneys, jury and judge. The crowd I joined in Franken’s living room was comprised of: Al Franken and his wife Franni; Rick Hertzberg, senior editor for the New Yorker; David Remnick, editor for the New Yorker; Jim Kelly, managing editor for Time Magazine; Howard...

Jon Voight will be on O'Reilly (soon) -- airing at moment. He will be commenting on the anti-semitism in the Passion of the Christ.

WHAT BETTER MAN? He is, afterall, a biblical scholar, or did you not know? He was Noah in Noah's Ark (CBS, Hallmark, 1999). If you are unfamiliar -- be thankful. Read the review of it HERE.

America's raging culture war has come down to a sparring match between two top media figures, with Fox News superstar Bill O'Reilly verbally slugging it out with New York Times arts columnist Frank Rich, says today's issue of the Forward. Zeroing in on this week's heated exchanges between the two men, the Forward reported that O'Reilly let loose on Rich for what he called the Times columnist's "savage attack on Mel Gibson," in the paper's Sunday edition, one of a number of vicious attacks Rich has aimed at "The Passion of the Christ" and Gibson over the past year....

Some viewers have asked me to explicitly define the fabled "elite media" and so I will try with some illustrations and examples.

New York Times writer Frank Rich continued his savage attacks on "The Passion of the Christ".

Even though most who have seen the film -- including the head of the Jewish Anti-Defamation League believe it is not hateful towards Jews -- Rich is smarter than all of us. If you see merit in this movie you are either a moron, a sadist and/or an anti-Semite according to Mr. Rich.

Did anyone just see Raquel Welsh on O'Reilly? WOW she looks great! She talked about how much she admired Mel Gibson and how she was brought up with traditional values. Bill seemed shocked! Good for her! Catch the rerun at 11:00 if you missed it.

The rule of law--it's what America is based on. We have very specific rules in this country designed to promote the general welfare and protect the citizenry, and if we don't obey those laws, we are punished. That's the way it's supposed to work. Judge Roy Moore did not obey the law. He defied a Federal court order to remove a statue of The Ten Commandments he had placed in the courthouse where he worked as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. So his fellow justices fired him as they should have. Hundreds of newspapers across the country applauded...

Bill O'Reilly Inc. touched down in Los Angeles on Feb. 15 for a whirlwind week that would have fatigued most hard-driving CEOs. The acerbic 53-year-old Fox News Channel (FOX ) commentator chaired a benefit for Israel that raised $40 million, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and ate dinner at Hollywood hot spot the Ivy with his boss, Rupert Murdoch, chairman of Fox News parent News Corp., (NWS ) and Murdoch's wife, Wendi -- all the while doing his radio and TV show every day.

O'Reilly haters may not like this post and I'll be the first to omit that O'Reilly has a huge ego and is full of himself and I can only take so much of him but..... I'm glad he is around during this time of the gay marriages in San Francisco issue. Living in California there are almost leaders speaking out strongly against it. The Govenator has been a 98 pound weakling on the issue, the Attorney General must be in on it, Pres Bush is "troubled." Every day the local S.F. Bay Area the T.V.news shows "happy stories" of more...
