NUKE FEARS Israel admits some of Iran’s underground uranium stockpile SURVIVED Trump’s blitz and threatens to strike bases again

International Atomic Energy Agency previously said Iran could still have stockpiles of enriched uranium

ISRAEL says some of Iran's highly-enriched near weapons-grade uranium stockpile survived US bombings during the 12-Day War last month.

Doubts remained about whether Iran quietly removed 408.6 kgs of uranium from its most sensitive sites before the strikes - potentially hiding nuclear material elsewhere in the country.

The uranium in question is enriched to 60 per cent - way above levels for civilian usage but slightly below weapons-grade.

That material, if further refined to 90 per cent, would theoretically be sufficient to produce more than nine nuclear bombs.

An Israeli official told The New York Times some of the uranium stockpile survived the US and Israeli bombings last month - and may be accessible to Iranian nuclear engineers.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, did not express concern about the remaining stockpile and said any attempt to recover it would be detected by the Israeli intelligence.

They also said that Israel would have enough time to attack Iran's nuclear facilities again if the regime tries to recover it.

Tehran admitted that Operation Midnight Hammer - which saw American B-2 Spirit bombers drop more than a dozen GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator bunker buster bombs - did cause "excessive and serious" damage.

Some of Iran’s Enriched Uranium Survived Attacks, Israeli Official Says
The assessment came as experts are trying to determine how long it would take Iran to rebuild its nuclear program in the aftermath of U.S. and Israeli strikes.

(Trump says not true..)

if you can see it..

Israel is just looking for an excuse to knock the snot out of the muzzies again. Trump needs to get with Israel and tell them to go for it. WE’VE GOT TO BE SURE. Let’s roll!

Even IF true, which its possible, its going to take them years to put it back together again, and I want to know how the hell this crap survived. One missile can destroy an entire apt building in Tel Aviv but 6 bunker buster bombs cant destroy this crap

Iran, NYT, MSNBC and CNN are all happy about that.

What does that say about them?

They wouldn’t store it at the same place they were manufacturing it.

First, discern whether from past experience from Iraq’s Baghdad Bob to today’s Iranians and Hamas, we should treat as gospel what the spokesmen say today.

Fool me once....

The strike on Fordow was on a type of centrifuge. Enriched uranium isn’t ‘destroyed’ by such blasts. It’s still there or somewhere, hopefully very difficult to extract.

want to know how the hell this crap survived.

I have to think the radioactivity in that hole will prevent rebuilding.

Do they have any other storage location under mountains?

I would generally think you would be correct, but Iranian hubris and pride in their mountain fortress was high.

U235 is not particularly radioactive.

True. That’s what happened to the SDS Weatherman faction when their 1960s bombs blew up their lairs. NYC townhouses and elsewhere.

The reality is there will be no way to ensure complete total erradication of Irans uranium assets without an occupation of the country.

Sorry to say folks, but attacking them just kicks the can down the road longer and gives them more reason to build a bomb and use it.

Except that the most secure place in the entire country was 300 feet below a 20’ Concrete cap. Where else would you store it?

“I have to think the radioactivity in that hole will prevent rebuilding.”

Radiation Exposure:

External Exposure:
.
Solid uranium, even enriched forms, generally does not pose a significant external radiation hazard due to its low levels of gamma and beta emissions and the skin’s protection against alpha particles.

Internal Exposure:
.
Inhalation or ingestion of uranium dust or particles can lead to internal exposure, potentially causing lung or kidney damage.

Radon Gas:
.
Uranium ore can produce radon gas, a radioactive gas that can pose a health risk if inhaled.

the Iranian nuclear threat has to be eliminated, the Iranian dictators are far far far too evil (and utterly nuts!) to be permitted to continue threatening USA, Europe, and the entire middle east (oil included)

There were (CIA I believe) photos of Iranian military trucks apparently hauling away something from the big underground A-bomb factory. So there is a genuine serious concern that the crazy Mullah’s weren’t just taking up a collection for their annual Toys for Tots charity donation.

We will see...
