OREGON CITY, Ore. -- Ward Weaver's lawyer says his client gave permission Friday for the search of his property that will continue Sunday. Timothy Lyons tells The Oregonian that Weaver gave his consent because he wanted to "bring closure to the families" of Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis. Weaver -- who is jailed on an unrelated rape charge -- has not been charged in the disappearances of the 13-year-old girls. They vanished last winter.
