ABOUT THIS EPISODE SEASON 3 EPISODE 132: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: “He came in through Biden’s ridiculous Open Border Policy,” Trump writes of the suspect who has confessed to the Boulder Flame-Thrower Attack, “which has hurt our country so badly. He must go out under Trump policy.” Yeah, great. Well, he DIDN'T go out under the Trump policy because the Trump policy is to ignore the actual dangers and simply arrest the innocent and those who pose no threat and thus Trump has blood on his hands. The attack on the weekly march of those remembering...

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann is accusing his former bosses of conducting a "racist purge" following the firing of Joy Reid. In a scathing critique, Olbermann claimed that the firing of Reid, known for her strong hate of President Donald Trump, was part of a broader pattern of what he calls discrimination and bias within the network.

In 2009, leftoids Keith Olbermann and Jonathan Alter were shocked by Seymour Hersh’s claims that Dick Cheney ran assassination squads using military personnel to take out enemy targets – you know, just like the current President... “There’s a lot more that happened in that Bush administration, directly out of the vice-president’s office, that we don’t know about yet,” warned Alter, adding that once the full details become known, they “will curl our hair.” That last line would carry greater power if Alter weren’t bald. And also a screaming hypocrite. Now that Barack Obama is running an assassination squad – directly...

Watching the Cards and Cubs on FOX Sports Midwest tonight and the announcers mentioned that Olberman was in the truck. Not sure if he is a producer or what. My, how he has fallen.

10:06 p.m. | Updated For nearly a year now, Al Gore and Joel Hyatt have been building their liberal cable news channel, Current TV, with the mercurial television anchorman Keith Olbermann at its center. This week, the center collapsed. Current said on Friday afternoon that it had fired Mr. Olbermann — one of the nation’s most prominent progressive speakers — just a year into his five-year, $50 million contract. It was the culmination of months of murky disputes between Mr. Olbermann and the channel that he was supposed to save from the throes of ratings oblivion. Yet as inevitable as...

Olbermann To Sue Gore Keith Olbermann to File Against Current TV By KEACH HAGEY Keith Olbermann's full statement in response to the termination of his contract by Current TV: 'I'd like to apologize to my viewers and my staff for the failure of Current TV. Editorially, Countdown had never been better. But for more than a year I have been imploring Al Gore and Joel Hyatt to resolve our issues internally, while I've been not publicizing my complaints, and keeping the show alive for the sake of its loyal viewers and even more loyal staff. Nevertheless, Mr. Gore and Mr....

All this talk about Kieth Olberdork getting picked up by Algore's nascent network has a couple of websites running contests to try and come up with the best name for Kieth's new show. This is one of those threads that has the potential to bounce around for a while, and the potential for "deleted by Admin Mod" comments is indeed high. Discretion is advised, but this is not a Prayer thread, so be forewarned you may not approve of some of the suggestions. Have fun...!!

The move is simultaneous with new owner Comcast starting to show its hand over the broadcast network and cable after receiving FCC approval. "He's been very problematic," an NBCU source told Deadline about Comcast's attitude to Olbermann. Officially, the Comcast takeover is next week. But word has been circulating for months now that the new owners have wanted to "tinker" with MSNBC and had many changes in store, including a right turn for the left-wing cable channel so that it represents both political points of view more evenly.

Background: Huffington Post reports: "MSNBC has suspended star anchor Keith Olbermann following the news that he had donated to three Democratic candidates this election cycle." NBC policy does not prohibit employees from donating to political candidates -- but MSNBC president Phil Griffin is miffed that Keith didn't get "prior approval' first. Meanwhile, Republicans Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan also gave political contributions -- but are not suspended. We've had enough insanity this week -- America doesn't need more with Keith kicked off the air. Sign the petition to MSNBC -- then tell your friends.

Adding to the historic victory delivered by the American people this week, NBC provided a Friday surprise that gives us the topping on the cake. “MSNBC has suspended star anchor Keith Olbermann following the news that he had donated to three Democratic candidates this election cycle. “I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay,” MSNBC president Phil Griffin said in a statement. Politico reported Friday that Olbermann had donated $2,400 each to Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, and to Kentucky Senate...

The vice president told Democrats to “stop whining,” the president told them to “buck up,” and if there was any remaining doubt that press secretary Robert Gibbs’s exasperation over the summer with the “professional left” was the official view of the White House, they dispelled it this week. But who, exactly, makes up this “professional left” that is so bothering President Barack Obama and his advisers? On Tuesday, Gibbs’ deputy, Bill Burton, made it clear that the occasionally critical cable personalities originally associated with this comment have the administration’s blessing. "If you're on the left, if you're somebody like Keith...

[James Lee Demands as posted at http://www.savetheplanetprotest.com/] The Discovery Channel MUST broadcast to the world their commitment to save the planet and to do the following IMMEDIATELY:1. The Discovery Channel and it's affiliate channels MUST have daily television programs at prime time slots based on Daniel Quinn's "My Ishmael" pages 207-212 where solutions to save the planet would be done in the same way as the Industrial Revolution was done, by people building on each other's inventive ideas. Focus must be given on how people can live WITHOUT giving birth to more filthy human children since those new additions continue...

VILLA RICA, Ga. — Authorities have charged a 29-year-old man with aggravated assault and false imprisonment after they allege he held his mother hostage for failing to iron his clothes. Carroll County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Marc Griffith said the man remained in jail Wednesday without bond. The unidentified woman was not harmed in the June 30 incident. Griffith said the man, who lives with his parents, wanted his mother to do some ironing because it was "woman's work." When she refused, authorities allege he pulled out a gun, and took his 51-year-old mother's keys and cellphones and refused to let...

WASHINGTON – The virus that causes AIDS can hide in the bone marrow, avoiding drugs and later awakening to cause illness, according to new research that could point the way toward better treatments for the disease. Finding that hide-out is a first step, but years of research lie ahead. Dr. Kathleen Collins of the University of Michigan and her colleagues report in this week's edition of the journal Nature Medicine that the HIV virus can infect long-lived bone marrow cells that eventually convert into blood cells.

He stared at the deliberate German script in the tattered notebook -- the ravings of one of the most evil minds in history, and the killer of 100 of his family members. "I don't want to touch it," he said. The Orthodox Jewish New Yorker first laid eyes on the diary of Dr. Josef Mengele on Thursday at a Connecticut auction house. He bought the 86-page journal last week from the auctioneer after the document failed to attract a bidder at the $60,000 reserve price. The buyer has requested anonymity but agreed to speak to The Post about his reasons...

Last night Kieth-O and Jonathan A of Newsweek played up the supposed cooperation of would-be terrorist Umar and family as being a direct result of Pres-O's perceptive soft line on terrorism - that because Pres-O wisely refused and refrained from referring to US opposition to Islamic insurrectionism as a "war on terror", he thus engendered this very productive outpouring. So the Pres's refusal to use "war on terror" rhetoric is productive and correct, politically. But hey! This is in direct opposition to the "facts" as he claims them to be (via the patented emotional Olber-azim) on several occasions (one within...

A hen-pecked man kissed and cuddled a chicken on the floor of a New York subway carriage, ruffling the feathers of his fellow passengers. Commuters on the uptown No.6 train scatter as the unnamed man rolls around on the floor of the carriage with the chicken. It’s not surprising that no one egged on the man’s antics, as only service animals and those in containers are allowed in the Big Apple’s subway system. Of course, the plucky character’s tomfoolery could all be a prank. After all, he was filmed doing it… We’ll keep you posted.

OLBERMANN: The Republicans and the Tea Partiers will tell you what happens tonight with Scott Brown tonight, whether he wins or comes close, is a repudiation of Obama policies, and surely one of Obama’s policies from the viewpoint of his opponents is that it’s okay to have this sea change in American history, to have an African-American President. Is this vote to any degree just a euphemism the way state’s rights was in the 60s?
