I'm an eye witness to Obama's motorcade yesterday. The Zocolo and adjoining areas were securely tied up. The city closed down at least two metro stops (that I saw). The microbus I took downtown dropped me off about 1/2 mile from the Zocolo (its regular route) because the city had closed the streets to car traffic. Mucha policia guarded ubiquitous metal gates.
