As the Beltway politicians try to figure out how they will raise the debt ceiling and for how long, most voters oppose including tax hikes in the deal. Just 34% think a tax hike should be included in any legislation to raise the debt ceiling...55% disagree and say it should not. CHICAGO (CBS) – North suburban Republican Congressman Joe Walsh has a new YouTube video on his website – where he tells President Barack Obama to “quit lying” about the impact of not raising the national debt ceiling by Aug. 2. Last year I asked whether the dems in the Congress would pay for the treatment of our military overseas and today I am asking will the dems pay for trying to smear Gov Palin? I know that there are some "conservatives" here at Free Republic who seem to be posting every little smear that is passed along in the news media. I wanted Fred to win, but he didn't. I am sorry Mitt or Duncan didn't win, but why are some of their supporters aiding and abetting with these smears?
