OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A home owned by Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao was raided by the FBI Thursday morning, a source tells ABC7 News. A neighbor confirmed to ABC7 News that the FBI was in the Lincoln Highlands neighborhood in the Oakland Hills. Security footage from another neighbor shows the FBI on the property. The FBI provided this statement Thursday morning: "The FBI is conducting court authorized law enforcement activity on Maiden Lane. We are unable to provide additional information at this time."

Asian American residents in Oakland Hills, California, are on high alert due to a string of home invasions targeting Asian families. Police’s internal advisory: There have been about 50 home invasion robberies cases involving elderly Asian families, reported ABC7 News after obtaining an internal advisory from the Oakland Police Department.
