Gaza-based terrorists fired three rockets towards southern Israel on Thursday evening, all three of which exploded in Gaza. There were no sirens in the Gaza Belt area, but some locals reported hearing explosions. A similar incident occurred on Saturday night, when two rockets that were fired from Gaza exploded on the Palestinian side of the border fence. Saturday’s rocket fire came a day after Hamas called for all able-bodied Arabs to attack IDF soldiers and "settlers" as "legitimate targets" after an Arab infant was killed in an arson attack in the village of Duma in Samaria.

The attempted attack on Israel was the second in two weeks, and terrorists apparently not directly connected with Hizbullah took responsibility for the rocket firings. The Abdullah Azzam Brigade terrorist group, allied with Al Qaeda, said it was behind Sunday night’s Katyusha missile attack...

Iran's defense minister claimed Sunday his country's missile progress demonstrates UN sanctions are ineffective and won't stop Tehran's military initiatives, Gulf News reports. The statement by General Ahmad Vahidi comes during this year's 10-day "Great Prophet-6" war games, which analysts say is Iran's latest show of military might. Tehran, who are billing the war games as a 'sign of peace for the region,' claim they have demonstrated growing self-sufficiency in military and other technologies. Vahidi said Iran's missile program is "indigenous" and has no reliance on foreign countries to meet its defence requirements. Iran is under four sets of UN...
