Awkward moment Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt asks crowd to cheer for Ron DeSantis during campaign rally – after becoming the first U.S governor to endorse his 2024 bid
Pro-Trump Twitter erupted in pushing a clip of an Oklahoma crowd being prompted by their governor to clap for Ron DeSantis. 'Oklahomans love Ron DeSantis!' Stitt said. While the majority of the crowd was silent, one man yelled out: 'That's right.' The clip is a throwback to a viral moment on the 2016 Republican primary campaign trail when then-candidate Jeb Bush pleaded for a crowd to clap for him during a stump speech in New Hampshire.
