Pro-Trump Twitter erupted in pushing a clip of an Oklahoma crowd being prompted by their governor to clap for Ron DeSantis.
'Oklahomans love Ron DeSantis!' Stitt said.
While the majority of the crowd was silent, one man yelled out: 'That's right.'
The clip is a throwback to a viral moment on the 2016 Republican primary campaign trail when then-candidate Jeb Bush pleaded for a crowd to clap for him during a stump speech in New Hampshire.

Two points.
stitt and desantis are similar in many ways.
stitt is another Trump backstabber....
stitt had received Trump's endorsement twice for governor and re-election
Also, there apparently is little actual interest in desantis here.
Despite this being the first governor to endorse desantis, no desantis supporter/likely nevertrumper noticed or promoted the event yesterday.
Stitt is a fool.
I think of DeSantis the way I thought of Cruz in 2016.
DeSantis, like Cruz, first.

The whole DeSantis campaign and his TrumpDeranged supporters are a train wreck.
There is little interest in DeSantis anywhere. 😏
Desantis is still a somewhat unknown for the majority of the public. They are not like most of us here, who have already been observing Ron’s actions or lack of specific actions as a Florida Governor.
You can’t build a full-featured campaign for yourself off of antipathy for another candidate. It ends up being a Potemkin village. People these days can spot that a mile away. They’ve had it with two-dimensional cardboard cutout candidates.

You must be living in a bubble. MSM and the GOPe has pulling for DESANTIS' for over two years. His name is broadcasted on MSM day and night for over two years.
BOTTOM LINE: Voters want TRUMP.
Well, he’s the second governor to be supporting DeSantis. The governor of Florida also wants DeSantis to become President.
I won’t support Deep State DeSantis. The GOP forced this crap with Romney, I’ll never do it again.
the desantis crowd’s initial non-response could be interpreted in two ways (3 actually):
1. They’re not very enthusiastic about desantis.
2. Desantis attendees aren’t bright enough to know that a subtle prompt (”Oklahomans LOOOVVVVE Ron!) means that they’re supposed to display overt enthusiasm, so they require being hit over the head with a two-by-four (”give us an amen!”) before they’ll respond.
3. Or some combination of both 1 & 2.
imho, desantis will do just fine in 2028. he may wind up being trump’s veep.

Great post and well said. I think there are some subtle differences - while Cruz was more openly critical of Trump in the media, DeSantos is like a snake in the grass. Eventually we’ll find out who has been flying him around the world and it won’t be pretty.
Yup. Dang sure is a fool. He broke his pick with me in his campaign against the tribes and the terms of the gambling franchise. He allegedly got some bad advice but took it believing the concession could be renegotiated. He took it to the mat even though he was dead wrong.
He has continued to be foolish in many ways. He does remind me of de santis.
