    I am not certain what the legal ramifications would be in changing Free Republic from donations to a subscription service. It seems to me the switch may be detrimental to legal issues such as copyrights. If that is true I'd appreciate if someone could briefly explain that to me.     FEDS RELAX POT RULES In a bid to boost the availability of pot, the feds have softened medicinal marijuana rules. Health Canada announced yesterday that it's okay to pay a licensed grower for their weed. The department also cut the red tape in the application process.
