Paige McKenzie. BERNALILLO, N.M. -- The media aide to gubernatorial candidate John Dendahl is reported in critical condition from a brutal beating suffered in Bernalillo Monday night. Paige McKenzie was attacked in the First Community Bank parking lot after pulling in to change a flat tire while on her way home. Now there are reports she may have recognized her attacker. Her injuries are so severe she is now reported to be on a respirator to assist her breathing at UNM Hospital. Dendahl, the Republican candidate challenging Gov.
