SEOUL, March 6 (UPI) — A North Korean news website denounced remarks a former U.S. negotiator made in Seoul and threatened to decimate the White House and other “strongholds” into a wasteland. The strongly worded statement, released on Saturday Pyongyang time, focused on the statements made by Christopher Hill, the former top U.S. delegate in the six-party talks. The negotiations, which addressed the North Korean nuclear crisis, were discontinued in April 2009 when North Korea pulled out of the talks.
