Thousands of people have fled from a disputed Azerbaijani territory to neighbouring Armenia amid fears that they may face ethnic cleansing. When 73-year old Gayle Meyer was being held against her will at the Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington on January 29th the call went out for people to show up at the hospital in her support.
