According to court documents filed in New York on Friday, the March shooting death of prominent Gambino crime family boss Francesco 'Franky Boy' Cali was not a mob hit at all, as had previously been assumed. Cali was allegedly shot by 24-year-old Anthony Comello in the Todt Hill section of Staten Island on March 13 this year, but Comello was not acting on the orders of one of the five major New York crime families. In fact, Comello seemed simply to be a man who lived with his parents and was obsessed with President Trump and a far-right conspiracy theory...

Ruslan Maratovich Asainov, 42-years-old, was charged last week in a Brooklyn, New York, federal court for aiding ISIS in 2013 when he allegedly traveled to Turkey and Syria to fight for the terrorist group. Washington (CNN)A federal judge Friday paused congressional Democrats' subpoenas of Trump Organization financial records, 10 days before the records were due in a lawsuit over whether President Donald Trump is violating the Constitution. The delay is a win for Trump, even if temporary. He's attempting -- and so far has succeeded -- to hold off multiple subpoenas from the Democrats that could divulge secrets about his company and assets. Judge Emmet Sullivan made the decision Friday shortly after the appeals court above him said it wanted to hear the emoluments case. The case had been progressing, with the Democrats sending...

DUBAI —A British warship tried but failed to prevent Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from seizing a British tanker in the Strait of Hormuz last week, intercepted radio communications show, fueling a wave of recriminations in London on Sunday over who was to blame for the incident last week. In recordings obtained by the shipping consultancy Dryad Global and posted on its website Sunday, a member of the Revolutionary Guard is heard ordering the British-flagged Stena Impero tanker to divert course toward Iran. “Alter your course,” the man says. “If you obey you will be safe.” A British naval officer...

Abysmal failure': Republican takes down ObamaCare during House hearingRep. Clay Higgins speaks out on 'Fox & Friends' after delivering a personal story about how the Affordable Care Act was completely unaffordable for his family. On July 9, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit hinted that it might strike down ObamaCare. If it does, then the U.S. Supreme Court will likely have the last word on the law's fate. And it's unclear whether ObamaCare could survive another date with the high court. If the courts axe ObamaCare, President Trump has promised to replace it with something "far...

Forget the debate between socialism and democracy — the 2020 election is coming down to a contest between paper and recyclable straws. President Trump’s reelection campaign is calling on supporters to reject “liberal paper straws” that turn soggy and “stand” with the president and “buy your pack of recyclable straws today.” The website touts Trump’s tubes as BPA free, 9-inches long, laser-engraved with the president’s name and made in the USA. They go $15 for a pack of 10. Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale, stirred people’s political appetites for the straws in an email on Friday. “I’m so over paper...

A Brazilian immigrant living in Canada was forced to close up her small business after refusing to wax the male genitals of transgender LGBT activist Jessica Yaniv, formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv. Citing discrimination based on gender identity, Yaniv filed a complaint with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal seeking financial restitution. The activist has filed complaints against 15 other estheticians with the tribunal, claiming "gender identity" discrimination, as well, The Daily Wire reported last year. [Snip] During tribunal proceedings on Wednesday, Da Silva said the complaint from Yaniv forced her to close shop, the outlet noted. "Some of my...

Nellie Ohr, the wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, is under scrutiny again. GOP lawmakers in the House seek Ohr's opposition research on members of the Trump family, according to Fox News. In testimony to lawmakers late last year, Ohr said she gathered information during the 2016 campaign about President Trump, his wife Melania Trump, and his children for Fusion GPS, the same opposition research firm that was paid by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign for British ex-spy Christopher Steele's anti-Trump dossier. The Republican investigators want to know if Ohr's Trump family research made it...

Stop talking so much about the America that he’s destroying. Save your breath for the America you want to create. Surprise, surprise: Donald Trump has no bottom. Just when you think he has sunk as low as he can, he stages a rally like that atrocity in North Carolina on Wednesday night and sinks lower. But the key takeaway isn’t that he’s a demagogue or a racist: These were facts put into evidence long ago. It’s that Democrats can’t afford to take unnecessary risks, dream deferrable dreams and engage in avoidable distractions as they set about the urgent work of...

Iran is slowly taking off its gloves and has dropped its mask in the widening confrontation with Western countries and Israel. After the United Kingdom (UK) seized an Iranian tanker with oil bound for Syria on July 4, the Iranians embarked on a piracy campaign against British and other vessels in the Persian Gulf. The tanker, Grace 1, was carrying 2.1 million barrels of oil when it was detained by British Marines and will stay in Gibraltar for another month, a court in the British colony decided last Friday. Iran called the British action an “act of piracy” and again...

The Trump brood just got a little bigger. Ivanka Trump announced on social media Saturday that her family has welcomed a snow-white pup into their home to mark daughter Arabella’s 8th birthday. The mother of three didn’t clarify what breed the dog, named Winter, is, though many breeders have speculated that it’s a pomsky, a cross between a Pomeranian and a Siberian husky. While the first daughter called Winter a "birthday dream come true" for her eldest child, the pooch isn't getting the warmest welcome from commenters on the internet, who are throwing some serious side eye at it's stark-white...
