A Russian space capsule with three astronauts aboard has docked with the International Space Station after a fast-track trip to the orbiting laboratory.
The Soyuz capsule docked at 22:48 GMT Saturday, just six hours and 20 minutes after blasting off from Russias launch complex in Baikonur, Kazakhstan.
The launch took place on the 50th anniversary of the day U.S. astronauts landed on the moon.
The capsule is carrying Andrew Morgan of the United States on his first spaceflight, Russian Alexander Skvortsov on his third mission to the space station and Italian Luca Parmitano.

Glad they made it safely.
Soyuz rockets are the only spacecraft in the world capable of delivering astronauts into space ...
Why do they need a dock in space?
And why THREE of them..?
>_<
“Soyuz rockets are the only spacecraft in the world capable of delivering astronauts into space “
50 years after we went to the moon too.
Docking at an airlock is a standard procedure. Yes, it’s called docking.
Also, three airlocks means you actually have a real spare. Two is one, one is none. Also, the additional airlocks provide mating and mounting points for other craft and other modules.
That’s because instead of sustaining our presence in space, we abdicated our pre-eminence and decided to fund midnight basketball leagues and dumping way too much money into the Shuttle and only the Shuttle.
I was joking..?
I meant if you screw up the pauses in the article title, the meaning sounds super weird
>_<
To be fair, the article was probably written by a speech to text system or are written for teleprompter use. Many are these days, unfortunately.

Damn, Im glad they took the 3 docks up. It must have been incredibly difficult entering, exiting and resupplying the space station before they had the docks. ;-)
Not true. We got some cool sh!t in our museums that did that. Could likely get a few more missions out of them.
1960’s tech still delivers.
“Do you want some fresh grated Parmitano?”
...sorry (not sorry)
