A federal judge appointed by Barack Obama ruled that Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes must release records pertaining to over 1.2 million “inactive” voters on Arizona’s voter rolls.
The decision comes amid concerns that Arizona’s voter rolls may contain numerous inactive or ineligible registrations, that would impact the accuracy of the state’s voter database.
Judge Logan served 26 years in the Marine Corps and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal while stationed in Iraq.
Barack Obama nominated Judge Logan to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Arizona in 2013.
On Saturday, Judge Steven P. Logan ordered Secretary of State Adrian Fontes to turn over records regarding 1.2 million potentially ineligible voters listed as “inactive” on Arizona’s voter rolls.
The case was initiated by the 1789 Foundation, known as Citizen AG, a Florida nonprofit, along with Arizona resident Lindsey Graham. They filed a lawsuit arguing that Arizona’s voter rolls were not properly maintained and included up to 1.2 million inactive voters who had failed to respond to confirmation notices and did not vote in recent elections, a potential violation of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
On October 4, 2024, Citizen AG submitted a formal request for records, which the Secretary of State’s office initially denied, stating that “individual counties may have the information requested.”

So we could be looking at a “do over” on December 5th? Yeah right. JK.
Treasonous POS. And sadly, the USMC Officer Corps has produced a bumper crop of traitors in the last decade. And lest anyone think he was out there with a knife between his teeth, he was a JAG lawyer.
Kind of a red herring
None of these inactive voters are eligible to vote in this election
A comprehensive official list would be nice but the rolls are already public records
Republicans already have the info in hand and can dispute their votes if they try to vote
\/
what is?, your comment ?
\\
None of these inactive voters are eligible to vote in this election
// then why not release it NOW ?
the whole point is to verify those who cant legally vote havent voted.
not a red herring, but nice try /-)

\\ what ? if the rolls are already public why is anyone making the request., your statement contradicts itself,, kinda lame try that time.
Republicans already have the info in hand and can dispute their votes if they try to vote
\\ they dont or they wouldnt be asking ,, crappy try that time.
no narrative control reward doughnut for you.
hope your day gets better. /-)
No, a voter registration list, that has 1.2 million inactive names makes it FAR easier to hide all of the fraudulent ones.
It is no remedy to say the Repubs already have a complete voter registration list that includes that 1.2 million.
It’s especially egregious what all the SOS has to do is push a button to provide it.
“Republicans already have the info in hand and can dispute their votes if they try to vote”
If they vote, there is no method to challenge that specific vote. Unless you are naïve enough to believe Arizona will not open them without verifying the.
We saw the video of last election, they spend 3-5 second per envelope “verifying” the voter and their signature.
In December if an inactive votes, there is no method to challenge it.
Whether or not they will is yet to be seen.
Judges are experts in Election Interference
Obama judge protecting democracy.
I hope that there is a chance for discovery prior to that State’s Electoral College electors being sent to WA DC in January. That way if there is any email or electronic evidence of voter fraud it can be brought before the courts.
This is a legal maneuver to force the legal issue before the election to maintain standing to sue for redress in any post election vote fraud litigation
In the past, Az judges have made disingenuous ruling based on circular legal logic that Republicans have no standing to engage in post election vote fraud litigation because of the theory of legal latches
The rulings generally were along the lines that vote fraud cases were barred because the issue was not brought up in courts before the election
When the cases were brought up in court before the election they were dismissed because the fraud had not yet occurred so there was no cause of action or harm that could be used to file the claim
The legal people have caught on to this judicial shell game shuck and jive and are setting the system up to ensure they file the right type of legal actions prior to the election in order to gain standing and prevent dismissal of post election vote fraud litigation in a rigged court system that will use any contorted bogus legal theory to dismiss any vote fraud litigation .
I'm about militant on vote fraud as can be, but this is a distraction from the avenue where the real substantive vote fraud is occurring in Az
Judges aka Wannabe Dictators
This legal action is formally objecting to the entire inactive voter roll members
It is a tactical legal move to preserve standing and legal rights to sue to reject these ballots in any post election litigation - which is a good thing
It also exposes judicial bias to strengthen any post election claims while also motivating the Republican base to turn out on Tuesday
The real major vote fraud issue is the full spectrum of a myriad of mail in ballot fraud schemes and illegal in Az ballot harvesting schemes
My belief is Arizona will vote for Trump by such a wide margin that we WILL know he won Arizona by midnight. Certainly by noon on Wednesday. I think his margin will be better than in 2016, when he won by 3.5%.
But I could be wrong...:>(
my apologies
i stand corrected ( if you are correct )
The Bronze Star can be given for heroism or for arse-kissing. I wonder which one?
The electors have already been appointed. Their names are on the ballot.
Supposedly judgey served 26 years in the Marines and got a bronze star like everyone else that served there. I don’t know what the hell that has to do with being a judge but it must have been important to O’Bamma.
