The school culture wars are not going away. A major flashpoint in the broader U.S. political debate of the last several years, schools have lately been the focus of intense protests as parents and activists have sought to roll back extremist education programs and pedagogies such as critical race theory and other left-wing curriculums. Media attention to these issues has waned in recent months, particularly after a string of conservative victories in local school board elections around the country in 2022. Yet schools are nevertheless continuing to push these progressive initiatives on students and administrators, indicating that — sustained backlash...

This month and next dozens of universities across the nation, from private top-tier schools to public state institutions, will host segregated graduation ceremonies and celebrations for their black graduates. These supplementary ceremonies are voluntary and are offered in addition to the universities’ regular graduations. Sometimes they’re co-hosted by black campus resource centers and various academic departments. They serve to give extra honors and recognition to black students earning their degrees. The popularity in offering these segregated graduations also seems to be growing. A new report by the National Association of Scholars that looked at 173 schools found that 76 of...

A Reddit page dedicated to black issues has declared that white people are no longer allowed to post there anymore. The forum, r/BlackPeopleTwitter, posted an “important announcement,” which stated, “Due to the overwhelming number of white people and white opinions present on BTP, we are now restricting access to this sub for black folks only.” Non-black people then responded to the post by humiliating themselves, embracing their white guilt, and begging to be allowed to post again. “Super white dude here. I’d like to apply for the token white guy position,” responded one white user. “I won’t post or comment...

It’s only racist when white people promote themselves and not racist when others do because “Those who defend advancing white interests point to people of colour who have organized politically to advance their identity’s interests. When people of colour have propagated their identity interests, it is always done to achieve economic and social liberation on par with white people. When Black people organized Black Lives Matter, whether in Toronto or Baltimore, it was to achieve the same treatment by the police and the state that white people receive. In response, the white identitarians proclaimed “All Lives Matter.” They rejected the...

When Obama met with Farrakhan, it was under the auspices of the Congressional Black Caucus. It wasn’t the first or last time that the CBC had been caught in bed with the hate group leader. And CBC members have never been ashamed of their ties to a racist who had praised Hitler as a “great man”. “I’ve been to his home, done meetings, participated in events with him,” Rep. Danny Davis declared. “I don’t regard Louis Farrakhan as an aberration or anything, I regard him as an outstanding human being.” The CBC won’t sanction Rep. Davis for saying that. In...

Chris Grayling, the Justice Secretary, could be dragged into a messy legal battle after a Muslim family demanded that a “non-believer” who was buried next to their relation be exhumed for religious reasons. The unnamed Muslim family raised objections after an 89-year-old Roman Catholic man was buried in a plot adjacent to their relation. Shadrack Smith was buried in the multi-denominational Lychgate Lane Cemetery in Burbage, Leicestershire, following his funeral on Jan 30. Mr Smith had lived in an official gipsy camp in nearby Aston Firs for more than 20 years, and in excess of 400 relations and friends attended...

This week, O'Reilly Factor correspondent Jesse Watters traveled to Garland, Texas, in an attempt to attend the 'Defend the Prophet' conference. A meeting of various Muslim groups, the conference was marked by a cloak of secrecy as the selected press entities allowed in were only permitted to cover it for only a short time. Watters and his team were not allowed in. "They revoked my ticket as I landed in Dallas," Watters later told host Bill O'Reilly. Outside the convention center, Watters spoke with an organizer about his rescinded press credential.

Former president Nelson Mandela’s assistant Zelda La Grange sparked a debate on Twitter on Saturday after saying she felt white people were not welcome in South Africa.

As protests across the country carry on without relent, the top brass running the show have put some serious thinking into how best to achieve racial equality. Apparently, part of the plan involves directions as to what white folks who want to protest can, and cannot do. I guess black people want to make sure white people keep their white privilege in check. Or something like that. Not sure. The Right Scoop has printed screen shots of these lists at a demonstration in Boston, which are hand written on large pieces of paper. Some instructions are in black. Others in...

Organizers of a recent Ferguson protest at the University of Missouri requested “only people of color” take part in the event’s “die-in,” one element of a larger demonstration that prompted at least two classes to be shelved so students could participate. “During the demonstration we will hold a ‘die-in’ in the student center. We are asking that only people of color be the ones to do so,” event organizers stated in an email obtained by The College Fix. “We are asking non-people of color to stand holding hands in solidarity.” “The ‘die-in’ is meant to represent black bodies that are...

Two women were arrested after they robbed and then intimidated three tenants out of their Brooklyn apartment — and the crime was partly motivated by race and class resentment, law enforcement sources said. Precious Parker, 30, and Sabrina James, 23, knocked on the door of an apartment building on Ocean Ave. near Newkirk Ave. in Flatbush at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and held a 34-year-old man, a 37-year-old man, and a 25-year-old woman at gunpoint demanding they move out or be killed, police said. The women then stole $800, an iPhone and personal information

An organization that published a list of 29 “Pitfalls of Working With White People” that was circulated at a diversity conference earlier this year received hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants from the U.S. Department of Justice, the Daily Caller has learned. Beyond Diversity Resource Center, based in New Jersey, is listed as a partner organization for the White Privilege Conference which was held in Madison, Wisc. in March. One of the “pitfalls” listed on the Center’s pamphlet, published by the website Progressives Today, is that white people “ask stupid questions”. The diversity group, which claims that it “works...

[Madison, Wisc...] The city of Madison hosted the 15th annual national White Privilege Conference last week at the Monona Terrace to discuss issues of white supremacy, social justice, education and the Tea Party. The MacIver Institute attended multiple breakout sessions and will be releasing our highlights over the next couple days. Our first account comes from the breakout session titled Stories from the front lines of education: Confessions of a white, high school English teacher. The session was facilitated by Kim Radersma, a former high school English teacher in California and Colorado. Radersma is currently working toward her Ph. D....

More details are emerging about what was presented at the "White Privilege Conference" held in Madison, Wisconsin, where tax money was spent to train teachers how to annihilate "white privilege" and "white supremacy" in American schools. One session insisted that whites can never be cured of their permanent racist attitudes. On March 30, Breitbart reported on the conference, now in its fifteenth year. Over these years, teachers have been told that whites have been pushing "white supremacy" on kids since the country was created, and that whites are so infused with racism that they aren't even cognizant of their crimes....

Officials with the Olathe School District issued an apology Friday after only black students were invited on a school outing. On Wednesday, a letter was sent to Olathe South High School students by Assistant Principal Candy Birch. In the letter, Birch said in her role as activities director that she wanted to give students an additional opportunity to connect with each other. "So we are planning an outing open to our African-American sophomores and juniors," she wrote. The event on April 5 would include a visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the American Jazz Museum, lunch at Arthur Bryant's...

PEOPLE FROM all over Philadelphia came together Saturday to tell their stories about gentrification at the Church of the Advocate in North Philadelphia. Organizers had issued fliers calling for an "emergency town hall" to confront a "crisis facing black Philadelphia: the demise of our neighborhoods." In gentrification, some neighborhoods are targeted for revitalization - but the new development leads to huge rent or property-tax increases that often force longtime residents out.

White liberals have been very good to Spike Lee, pouring money and praise upon him in return for the excruciatingly politically correct movies he directs. Here he returns the favor exactly as we have come to expect: Spike Lee went on a long-winded rant against gentrification in New York City on Tuesday night when he was asked to argue against the development of poorer neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Harlem. … Lee pointed the finger at white New Yorkers who have moved into historically black neighborhoods and changed the environment, arguing that those changes have caused the areas to evolve into...
