Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she and a fellow Democrat will introduce a bill to block President Trump’s expected declaration of a national emergency to secure money for his long-promised border wall. “@JoaquinCastrotx and I aren’t going to let the President declare a fake national emergency without a fight,” the Bronx/Queens Democrat tweeted Friday. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) said in a statement Thursday: “If President Trump declares a national emergency to fund his border wall, I’m prepared to introduce a resolution to terminate the President’s emergency declaration.”
