Pope went on vacation for a few days to visit the rugged mountains of Alaska. He was driving along near a campground when he heard a frantic commotion just at the edge of the woods. He found a helpless Democrat wearing shorts, sandals, and an old "Vote for Hillary" tee shirt. The man was screaming and struggling frantically, thrashing all about trying to free himself from the grasp of a 10-foot grizzly bear. As the Pope watched in horror, a group of Republican loggers all wearing "Go Trump" shirts came racing up. One quickly fired a .44 magnum slug right...

Could all tobacco products soon be banned in Utah? At issue is the legislative bill currently being debated which would ban smoking in public places like bars and clubs. But ABC 4 News has learned that a substitute bill is being drafted - one which would ban tobacco products from the state. It's all part of the last minute wheeling and dealing before the final vote on the no-smoking bill. The substitute bill banning all tobacco products is expected to be introduced during the final debate over the no-smoking bill.

PADUCAH, Ky. - A toxic gas may be corroding cylinders containing depleted uranium, a federal memo has warned several facilities that are involved in the government's nuclear program. The memo was sent to nuclear facilities in Oak Ridge, Paducah and Portsmouth, Ohio, according to a report in the Louisville Courier-Journal. Residual amounts of phosgene, a chemical warfare gas, may have been left in "as many as" 309 cylinders in storage at Oak Ridge, 406 at Portsmouth and 1,825 at Paducah, said the memo from the Department of Energy's Inspector General's Office. The phosgene gas, according to the memo's preliminary findings,...

As rising floodwaters swamped New Orleans, Louisiana's chief epidemiologist enlisted state police on a mission to break into a high-security government lab and destroy any dangerous germs before they could escape or fall into the wrong hands. Armed with bolt cutters and bleach, Dr. Raoult Ratard's team entered the state's so-called "hot lab," and killed all the living samples. "This is what had to be done," said Ratard, who matter-of-factly put a sudden end to his lab's work on dangerous germs, which he wouldn't name. At least Ratard's team was able to retrieve laptop computers containing vital scientific data. Many...
