Calling the CBS News interview with AG Barr a bombshell doesn’t do it justice. The interview is chock-full of one explosive comment after another about special counsel Robert Mueller, the media and Barr’s own investigation of the investigators: <><>“So it was bogus, this whole idea that Trump was in cahoots with the Russians is bogus.” <><>“It’s hard to read some of the [FBI] texts and not feel that there was gross bias at work, and they’re appalling.” <><>“The use of foreign-intelligence capabilities and counterintelligence capabilities against an American political campaign to me is unprecedented and it’s a serious red line...

Robert Mueller knew there was no collusion the first time he read the Steele dossier, which reads as if it was written by a high school sophomore who spent most of his time huffing inhalants behind the gym. “Hey Dude, let’s get some more gas at the Lukoil…” At the latest, the indictment of 12 Russians on 02/16/2018 should have been the end of his “collusion” investigation. Why did Mueller keep going? To entrap the president into obstructing justice, of course. Mueller had a plan. He would use his witchhunt to anger the president enough that he would try to...

Watch out, folks! The Federalist’s Sean Davis is dragging the beaten hypothetical corpse of Robert Mueller through. He just took the man to the woodshed in his latest piece and rightfully so. The Russia investigation is over. Special Counsel Mueller is done. He’s done talking about it. He directed us to read the report that was compiled after two years of digging and to leave him alone. Oh, and Democrats, go ahead with impeachment wink* wink*. He twisted the words of his investigation’s findings on Russian collusion; none was found. But Mueller phrased it in a way that left it...

Devin Nunes may only represent a small portion of Californians, but he’s done more for all Americans than just about any other congressman in regards to uncovering the seemingly endless layers of deceit, lies, obfuscation, and skullduggery regarding the deep state coup attempt against POTUS Donald Trump. On Friday, Nunes continued his quest to expose the guilty with a demand for documents from the NSA, CIA, State Department, and the FBI regarding an operative named Joseph Mifsud after casting doubts on conclusions about his role contained in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

The controversial research firm Fusion GPS is still investigating alleged ties between President Trump’s 2016 election campaign and Russia, according to several sources who spoke to this reporter. What’s not known is who is paying for the continuing research? Fusion GPS officials could not be reached immediately for comment.

Rep. Devin Nunes — who stepped aside as chair of the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election amid an ethics probe into allegations that he disclosed classified information — was cleared late Thursday of any wrongdoing. Nunes, a California Republican, could now opt to return to the Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation. In a statement, the House Ethics Committee said it had “sought the analysis of Representative Nunes's statements by classification experts in the intelligence community” and that they had determined that “the information that Representative Nunes disclosed was not classified.” “The Committee will take no...

Jeannie Rhee, another lawyer hand-picked by Special Counsel Robert Mueller to serve on the Russia probe, is coming under scrutiny for her pro-Hillary Clinton bias, after two others were forced to leave the team for the same reason. Rhee represented Obama Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes during Congress’s investigation of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack, while she was an associate at Mueller’s law firm, Wilmer Hale, according to congressional records. This affiliation, pointed out by Fox News host Laura Ingraham on her show Ingraham Angle Tuesday night, is yet another data point of evidence that Mueller’s team — whose...

A September 2016 email sent to senior Trump campaign officials directed them to documents that had already been publicly released by WikiLeaks, per The Washington Post. Initial reporting on the email this morning from CNN said the email was sent on September 4 — WaPo reports that it was actually September 14 — and left it an open question whether the documents had been previously released. Why it matters: WaPo's reporting massively changes the significance of this story, indicating that the sender — a still unknown "Michael J. Erickson" — might have just been trying to alert Trump campaign officials...

The events that have transpired over the last year are not a series of coincidences. There is a plan behind all of it. Robert Mueller is not searching for the truth. He assembled a team to bring down Trump. That much has become overwhelmingly clear. Mueller has put together a team of rabid Trump haters. Not a single one is a Republican donor and most are democrat donors. Mueller, who is close friends with Comey, is also seeking to avenge Comey. Democrats knew what was going on the entire time. Let's look at what's happened. (Thank you, Chuck Ross, for the timeline....

An attorney for special counsel Robert Mueller attended Hillary Clinton’s election night party in New York City, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday. Andrew Weissmann’s attendance at the party is one of many signs pointing to a troubling bias from the attorney. Weissmann has been described by The New York Times as Mueller’s “lieutenant” and “pit bull.” Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch obtained an email Tuesday that reveled Weissmann praised former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ defiance of Trump. “I am so proud. And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects,” Weissmann wrote to Yates on Jan....

The most common question I am asked in interviews these days is why doesn't President Trump fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The better question is why doesn't Rosenstein just quit, as it's clear that nobody responsible for picking him wants him around anymore. In case you missed it, even President Trump called him out as a hack. What's clear is that Rod Rosenstein has been overcome by swamp gas. The Deputy Attorney General, and more importantly his top staff (we'll get to that in a moment), seems to have forgotten why he has his job. He has his job...

The media echo chamber spent the week speculating about whether Special Counsel Robert Mueller can or will nab President Trump on obstruction-of-justice charges. All the while it continues to ignore Washington’s most obvious obstruction—the coordinated effort to thwart congressional probes of the role law enforcement played in the 2016 election. The news that senior FBI agent Peter Strzok exchanged anti-Trump, pro-Hillary text messages with another FBI official matters—though we’ve yet to see the content. The bigger scandal is that the Justice Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Mr. Mueller have known about those texts for months and deliberately kept...

Alvi Awan was suspected of helping swindle $283,000 from banks and was busted carrying over $12,400 in undocumented cash when the FBI caught up with her at Dulles International Airport in March. But incredibly Awan — the wife of Imran Awan, the IT specialist and con man employed by Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was arrested last week for bank fraud — was never detained or forced to stay in the United States. Her arrest in fact was blocked by then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI sources said. So federal agents and Capitol Police watched...

Yet another key member of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe appears to have deep ties to the Democratic Party. Aaron Zebley served previously as Mueller’s chief of staff at the FBI and in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division and as a senior counselor in the National Security Division at the Department of Justice. He also was an assistant U.S. attorney in the National Security and Terrorism Unit in Alexandria, Virginia. He is often referred to in the media as Mueller's "right-hand man." Also, in 2015 when he was a lawyer, he represented Justin Cooper, the IT staffer who personally set...
