MORENCI, Mich. (AP) - A police chief says authorities "do not anticipate a positive outcome" in the search for three Michigan brothers who have been missing since their father's attempted suicide. Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks told reporters Tuesday that searchers are continuing to look for 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton. The boys last were seen on Thanksgiving in their father's backyard. Weeks says the assessment is based on information including statements from 39-year-old John Skelton. He says no decision has been made about whether to bring charges in the disappearance. Police say John Skelton attempted suicide...

"The good news in this case is that response was swift.'' Allen said most of the 800,000 children reported missing each year in the US are recovered safely - even in abduction cases, where 60 percent of children are found alive. But if children...

(Nov. 28) -- Residents of a tiny Michigan town kept searching and praying today for three young brothers missing since Friday, when their dad turned up at hospital after a failed suicide attempt and told police he left the boys with a woman to return to their mother. Police in Morenci, Mich., said they've been unable to confirm much of the information that 39-year-old John Skelton provided about the woman and they fear the children are in "extreme danger." Authorities issued an Amber alert for 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton on Friday . On Sunday, searchers focused...
