The World Health Organization (WHO) is telling Chinese citizens to wear face masks, keep physical distance, and stay home amid an outbreak of a “mystery respiratory illness.” Media reports say hospitals in Beijing and Liaoning are overwhelmed with cases of “undiagnosed pneumonia” primarily affecting kids. The children are presenting symptoms of lung inflammation and high fever, but not the coughing associated with COVID-19, RSV or other illnesses. Chinese officials first announced the outbreak on November 13th, which they reportedly blamed on the absence of lockdown restrictions. The Department of Defense will no longer call captured terrorists "unlawful combatants," but will now refer to these people as "unprivileged enemies." In a joint publication released this month, terrorists captured and detained by the United States will no longer be called "unlawful combatants," which is now apparently an obsolete term. Instead, a more polically correct term, "unprivileged enemies," has been chosen. The manual explains, "Belligerent. In general, a person who is engaged in hostilities against the US or its multinational partners during an armed conflict. By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Hamas Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza. Has anyone else seen this and does it have validity? When I saw this run across the bottom of the screen, I thought too that it may be attached somehow to H.R. 1388 "The GIVE Act", I am not 100% positive about this though. I did go and scan through H.R. 1388, but did not find anything about the above.
