The Illinois man wanted in connection with Richmond runaway Monica Sharp's five- week odyssey away from home was taken into custody by police this morning. Jeffery Nichols, 57, was picked up by Henrico Police around 8:50 a.m. driving in the Wal-Mart parking lot on 7901 Brook Road, said Henrico Police Lt. Doug Perry. Richmond Police are continuing to search for 17-year-old Monica Rose Sharp. Police believe she is in the company of an individual she recently met, 57-year-old Jeffery Nichols from Belleville, Illinois. Police recently released Nichols' photo. Police say he is driving a green, four-door, 1999 Oldsmobile Alero with Illinois tag: 6219015. Sharp hasn't been seen since Sept. 18 when she went to walk her dog in the Museum District, near the 3100 block of Grove Avenue.
