Former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that “everybody should vote for” President Joe Biden if they wanted democracy to survive. Partial transcript as follows: HUTCHINSON: Donald Trump isn’t a Republican. And, yes, maybe, by name, he considers himself a Republican, but Donald Trump cares more about authoritarian rule than he does our rule of law. He doesn’t care about preserving our Constitution. He cares about leveraging it for his own power and his own gain. So, when we look at this next election, we need to think about, if we want our democracy to...

But, assuming these reports are accurate, it’s a disaster for the January 6 committee.Maybe a major one.🚨 A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.— Peter Alexander (@PeterAlexander) June 28, 2022A USSS source confirms to me that Engel and driver are willing to give the testimony @PeterAlexander details below. The source has not responded to whether...

According to a new Jack Smith filing the DOJ may be a part of the scandal of the ‘missing’ Secret Service text messages. Jack Smith in his Monday night filing objected to Trump’s demands for evidence from the Department of Homeland Security and January 6 Committee. Per Julie Kelly: It appears DOJ is part of the scandal of the missing Secret Service texts. As I reported a few days ago, thousands of texts between 2 dozen Secret Service officials/agents including the director and Robert Engel–the agent Trump allegedly attacked on J6 according to Cassidy Hutchinson–were deleted at the end of...

On Thursday, Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his much-anticipated report on FBI and DOJ actions during the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Although the report was well over 500 pages and took a year and a half to produce, it is an incomplete investigation. Inspector General Horowitz confirmed Friday his staff was unable to recover all of the ‘missing’ Strzok-Page text messages from Dec. 15, 2016- May 17 2017.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday that the Justice Department “will leave no stone unturned” in trying to figure out how the FBI lost five months of text messages exchanged between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the FBI agents who exchanged anti-Trump messages while working on the Clinton and Trump investigations. “We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement.

However, according to the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross, the FBI claimed it the reportedly missing text messages to Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz on August 10th, 2017. Strzok, who then served as the FBI’s No. 2 counterintelligence official, conducted many of the biggest interviews in the investigation, including with Clinton and her top aides, Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills. “After finding a number of politically-oriented text messages between Page and Strzok, the OIG sought from the FBI all text messages between Strzok and Page from their FBI-issued phones through November 30, 2016, which covered the entire period of the Clinton...

"But, according to the letter, the FBI told the department that its system for retaining text messages sent and received on bureau phones had failed to preserve communications between Strzok and Page over a five-month period between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017. May 17 was the date that Mueller was appointed as special counsel to oversee the Russia investigation."
