The Republic of the United States of America is just about finished. If Obama controls the Oval Office then our Republic will be destroyed from inane socialist policies from within. If McCain controls the Oval Office then our Republic may also die from within due to his appeasement to Liberals. He MAY fight the good fight oversees, but he has little interest in maintaining our Constitutional Heritage state-side...witness the McCain/Feingold limitiations on 1st Amendment rights. Also, witness McCains position on the Shamnesty Bills he has tried to push through last years against the huge outcry of regular citizens. Obama believes...

A Presidential Fist-Bump by Mike Krumboltz June 5, 2008 12:48:59 PM It's been a marathon. No, scratch that. It's been an ultra marathon, this race for the Democratic nomination. So it's no wonder that when Barack Obama finally claimed the right to represent his party, he couldn't help but cut loose and celebrate with his wife, Michelle. But instead of the expected hug and kiss on the cheek, the couple shared the "fist-bump heard 'round the world." The exuberant gesture sparked big interest in the Buzz. Searches on "obama fist bump" soared across the country as major news outlets replayed...

Here’s a quick joke for you all… Mahtin goes to pick up his date for the evening. She’s not ready yet, so he has to sit in the living room with her parents. He has a bad case of gas and really needs to relieve some pressure. Luckily, the family dog jumps up on the couch next to him. He decides that he can let a little fart out and if anyone notices they will think that the dog did it. He farts, and the woman yells, “Shep, get down from there.” The guy thinks..(con't @http://boknowsonline.com/2008/03/08/fahtin-mahtin/)

H.R. 2415 is compilation of proposals for a free market approach to dealing with America's gasoline crisis. It deserves cosponsorship support so that it will receive committee action. Despite our need to increasingly rely on our own domestic resources the U.S. government has forbidden the development of some major U.S. oil fields. It is unrealistic to expect a nationwide alternative energy infrastructure to materialize quickly enough to prevent major problems for our oil-driven economy. However, H.R. 2415 would increase refinery and offshore oil production during the transition period to minimize America's oil and gas pinch by further tapping our own...

Does anyone have a copy of the video where Obama morphs into Osama bin laden or some other suitable sheet head? I am getting nailed with Obama crap from some friends who are Obama supporters...I want to send that along to them.

Excerpt: Friends of New Orleans, a charity formed to help that city recover from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, is paying for the party, and for a concert with New Orleans-style food at the Fillmore Auditorium afterward for the 6,000 delegates and their guests on Aug. 24, the Sunday before the convention opens.

With Barack Obama clinching the Democratic Party nomination, it is worth noting what an extraordinary moment this is. Democrats are nominating a freshman Senator barely three years out of the Illinois legislature whom most of America still hardly knows. The polls say he is the odds-on favorite to become our next President. Think about this in historical context. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were relatively unknown, but both had at least been prominent Governors. John Kerry, Walter Mondale, Al Gore and even George McGovern were all long-time Washington figures. Republican nominees tend to be even more familiar, for better or...

Bo (woof) In Commentary: Imagine, if you will, walking in the rain but instead of raindrops coming out of the sky it’s bacon flavored bubbles. Sound like a dream you’d twitch to? Well, purchase the Bubble Buddy and according to its maker, Happy Dog Toys, it may very well come true. Recently I was in PetSmart, perusing the aisles with the old man in tow when the Bubble Buddy caught my eye. Once I read the packaging, I knew I had to get one for myself. It read… * Blow ‘em! Chase ‘em! Chomp ‘em! * Get ready for bubble...

At first and like many, when I first heard about RUSH's "Operation Chaos" I wasn't sure if it made snese to keep Hillary around. Afterall, she would be a tough opponent and compared to Obama she actually HAS a resume and some experience even if it's all about failed Leftist initiatives. My feeling was I wanted Hillary OUT of the political picture and the sooner the better as I am terribly tired of the "Clintoons" and all that surrounds them. However, keeping her close, within reach, and even allowing her to crow about winning the popular vote indeed was the...

A T-R-I reader says a “former Republican candidate for the presidency in 2008 is shopping a radio commentary/talk show to all the networks, and it’s not his first job in radio.” Sounds like the Tennessee talker himself, Fred Thompson, doesn’t it? But no – it’s former Arkansas Governor, minister and onetime teenage radio host Mike Huckabee. His witty and self-deprecating persona was a hit with a lot of media types during the campaign and you’d think he could be exploring all kinds of options (including the VP slot with McCain, without seeming to want it). But he’s shaking hands and...

Two weeks after the only toilet broke aboard the international space station, Russian Mission Control has some welcome news for astronauts: You can "start using it." Wednesday's successful repair job came thanks to a 35-pound pump delivered by the space shuttle Discovery. A cosmonaut spent hours installing the device and was told to report later on how well the toilet works.

Every Memorial Day Weekend, the city of Columbia has the Memorial parade, and they unfurl Old Glory in the middle of town while the parade goes under it. It's pretty amazing to see Old Glory like this. This year I didn't participate in the parade, so I had a chance to take pictures of the Columbia FD put up Old Glory.

Features - June 2, 2008 Digital Forensics: 5 Ways to Spot a Fake Photo By Hany Farid This story is a supplement to the feature "Digital Forensics: How Experts Uncover Doctored Images" which was printed in the June 2008 issue of Scientific American. Lighting Composite images made of pieces from different photographs can display subtle differences in the lighting conditions under which each person or object was originally photographed. Such discrepancies will often go unnoticed by the naked eye. For an image such as the one at the right, my group can estimate the direction of the light source for...

Like many people I am very conflicted about casting my precious vote for Senator McCain this November. I want to suggest a way to send an irrefutable signal to him that we are voting for him as the least of the evils and NOT because we think he is the Conservative leader we had hoped for. I think that if Conservatives voted for him by using the Write-In vote as a signal that we demand that he adopt, and actively promote and defend CONSERVATIVE principles and our U.S. Constitution a very strong message would be sent loud and clear. It...

Remember the canned cheeseburgers? Now you can make yours even more yummylicious with canned 100% US bacon, cooked and ready to eat. Actually, forget the burger: make your own bacon sandwich using two additional layers of bacon instead of bread. Each can contains all the vitamins and minerals you need to keep a healthy life while pretending to work in front of the computer, and you can even use the remaining fat to polish iPhones and assorted gadgets. Each can comes with 40 to 50 slices of lipids and protein, produced using three pounds of raw bacon plus:• water •...

America has been greatly blessed by God and has stood as the greatest country in the history of the world for over 200 years. America has many foreign and domestic enemies that are seeking her destruction. This thread is a daily call and reminder for people of faith who believe in God and in the power of prayer to make a commitment to intercede for America at this critical time in her history.

Have a question for all you personal protection experts...I live in Texas, and am trying to increase my handgun knowledge; I don't yet have a concealed license. Have a Ruger .22, and recently acquired a Sig P6 9mm, and have been doing a fair amount of target practice. I'm starting to feel comfortable enough to want to keep the Sig easily accessible at night (especially after a theft next door recently), and want to follow best practices. Do I keep it under a pillow, or in the nightstand?Stored inside manufacturer's plastic case?Keep it loaded?Bullet chambered?Cocked? Also, is it ok to...
